G’day mates, it’s Mr. TV here. So a lot of people have been making their own season 7 casts or whatever, so I decided to finally throw my own hat into the ring and share how I would envision Season 7. Now, I already made a post about the 25-contestant cast and the teams, so I won't reintroduce those here. This is more about the hosts, the arcs, the overall vibe of the season, all that, so let’s begin.
As of right now, I don’t have a name for this season. I could obviously reuse the Sevenfold name, but if you have any other ideas, definitely drop them in the comments below!
Anyways. So this season is set in the exact same universe as the How I Would Write a One Redemption Arc Post-Trilogy (HIWWAORAPT) universe because why not? So everything that played out in that series still happens. Four and Three got stripped of their powers, banished from Goiky and are now nomads, and Four is officially blacklisted from ever involved in hosting ever again.
With Four and Three out of the picture and officially out of Goiky, BFDI enters a brand new era. Gone are the days of pain, suffering, and trauma caused by Four’s tyranny. We move to an era of peace, healing, fairness, and hope.
Now, with Four out of the picture, we need to talk about who will be having hosting duties this time around.
Since we’re keeping things balanced and chill, hosting is actually going to be shared between a trio: One, Two, and Black Hole:
Two: They are back for a second go at hosting, and this time they’re doing it right. After everything that went down in TPOT (the depression spiral, the power loss, the whole mess with One), Two has properly healed and is in a much better headspace. They’re still the chill, slightly chaotic British host we know and love, but it stays like that. They’re the heart of the hosting trio: the one who keeps the vibe light, cracks the dry jokes, and makes sure nobody’s taking the competition too seriously.
One: The former villain and Two’s now-reformed bestie. After wrecking havoc, have a short stint as co-host of TPOT alongside Two, and going on a redemption arc, One is also having a second go at hosting, this time fully on the right side of things. She’s still a bit sharp-edged and dramatic when the mood strikes, but she is now way more laid-back than ever. All the contestants have forgiven and now respect her and she is now living the best years of her life… yes, even better than when she had Three as her only friend. She’s genuinely happy now and you can see it in the way she carries herself. Hosting with Two feels natural, like the two of them finally getting the do-over they both deserved after everything.
Black Hole: TPOT contestant, One’s therapist-like friend, and the reason why One got redeemed, Black Hole got offered the hosting gig by One herself as a way to repay everything he did for her. He’s the calm, grounded one of the trio. As a death preventer, he’s the perfect counterbalance to One and Two’s more energetic (and occasionally chaotic) energy. Black Hole keeps things fair, makes sure no one actually dies if it can be helped, and quietly talks people down when the drama starts bubbling up a bit too high. He’s not the loudest host, but he’s the one everyone ends up trusting the most when things get a little too real.
But wait, THERE’S MORE!
For the first time in the BFDI franchise, there are special guests who’d occasionally drop by and help out with hosting or challenges for a few episodes. These people are some of One and/or Two’s closest friends and were apart of their coalition during the whole One’s Atonement Trilogy fallout in the HIWWAORAPT timeline. They don’t stick around full-time (thisisn’t a permanent six-host circus), but they pop in for a handful of episodes each, help run challenges, assistwith Cake at Stake, or just hang out and keep the energy up. Here they are:
Seven: one of One’s closest friends from way back and a key member of the coalition that helped her through the whole trilogy mess. He’s the energetic, slightly chaotic hype-man of the guest crew. When Seven drops in, the challenges suddenly get a lot more creative (and occasionally ridiculous). He and One bounce off each other like old mates who’ve finally got the band back together, and his presence always lifts the whole episode’s energy.
Fifteen: When one baddie wasn’t enough, Fifteen steps in as the quiet powerhouse of the guest crew. She’s the one who spent years living off-grid in her cabin, keeping Zero safe and minding her own business while the rest of the Algebralien drama unfolded. She and One form an iconic duo of two baddies and whenever they are together, you know that the badassery level is through the roof. Watching her and One trade dry one-liners while casually running a challenge is pure gold.
Zero: Fifteen’s long time buddy, every time he appears, it’s most likely with her. He’s the quiet, slightly awkward one of the guest crew who still carries that old “Zero Leader” energy fromthe subscriber specials, but mellowed out after everything that went down in the trilogy. When Zero drops in heusually sticks close to Fifteen, helps with the more technical side of challenges.
X: Two’s longtime friend and former BFB co-host. He is better than ever after cutting ties with Four. No more being abused, emotionally neglected, or having to be blindly loyal to Four for years. Now that he’s free from that toxic dynamic, X is lighter, funnier, and actually enjoysbeing around people again. When he swings by as a guest host he brings that classic BFB co-host energy butwithout any of the old baggage. He’s great at running the more creative or food-based challenges, and thechemistry between him and Two is off the charts. Since X got inspired by One to cut ties with Four and have a better future, he now respects her as a host, as a friend, and as a person who actually proved change is possible. The two of them have this easy, supportive dynamic now that just works.
Twenty-One (my OC): And finally, we got Fifteen’s best friend. Twenty-One a chill-but-snarky 21 who rock up with the shades on half the time and the biggest soft spot for Fifteen you’ve ever seen. He’s the practical one of the guest crew: the guy who actually reads the challenge rules twice, keeps the more chaotic guests from going completely off the rails, and still manages to drop the driest one-liners that leave everyone (especially One) wheezing.
So yeah, that’s the full hosting setup: the permanent trio of One, Two and Black Hole running the show day-to-day, with Seven, Fifteen, Zero, X and Twenty-One swinging by every now and then as special guest co-hosts to keep things fresh and give the main three a bit of a breather. It’s never overwhelming, just the right amount of extra personality when the season needs a little boost.
Let’s talk about eliminations because that’s pretty interesting in this.
So everything is the same. It’s VTS (vote to save), Cake at Stake is still the same, and all that, but let’s talk about what’s happens if someone gets eliminated.
In all of the BFDI seasons so far, eliminated contestants get sent to a place and stay there until a rejoin or the finale, usually in an isolated area that is like a prison. However, One and Two are all about fairness, healing, and actually treating people like people.
So with that being, the place that the eliminated contestants will get sent to is… NOWHERE! And what do I mean by that? Exactly what it sounds like. Eliminated contestants get to stay, hang out with everyone, and be free. However, there is a strict rule when it comes to being eliminated: You cannot interfere with the ongoing challenges or try to sabotage the remaining contestants in any way. Other than that? They are free to do whatever they want, hang out in the Hotel or around Goiky, chat with the remaining contestants, even help decorating cakes for Cake at Stake. One and Two had made it clear that they are not repeating the mistakes of past seasons and that includes imprisoning people against their will. Elimination is strictly a loss in the game, not a loss of your freedom.
Now, let’s talk about the vibe and tone for a second. After a while, fans got used to the dark and intense storylines from TPOT, but the whole point of this season is that we are actively moving away from tragedies and trauma. Instead, this season is going to be way more laid-back, but with just enough of a darker edge to fit the modern vibe of the series. This season is going to be like BFDIA, and before you say anything, no, it’s not like the universally loved post-hiatus BFDIA. We’re going back to 2012/2013 for this one because this season reminisce of pre-hiatus BFDIA but with a modern, slightly darker spin.
Pre-hiatus BFDIA was fun, simple, and raw, but it also wasn’t afraid to let things get a little weird, unpredictable, and just slightly unhinged. That’s the exact energy we’re bringing back here, just refined with modern storytelling standards and a darker undercurrent that a lot of fans associate with modern BFDI. It’s dark in a bit of a TPOT way with the stakes high, the comedy morbid, and the character development hitting hard, but it’s laid-back in the sense that no world-ending events occur, no characters have trauma that prevents them from functioning (ahem… Pencil… ahem… One), and the high stakes are reserved for the actual game itself, rather than life-or-death survival. We’re basically getting early TPOT vibes here mixed with pre-hiatus BFDIA vibes, and honestly? It’s giving classic BFDI nostalgia vibes.
Now let’s get creative and come up with some of the main character arcs that would carry this season! Some of the arcs were partially introduced through the post about the teams I came up with previously, but let's expand on them here:
1: Fanny’s “back to back win” mission (only if she wins TPOT): An arc that could be entertaining to watch if Fanny does end up winning TPOT is her mission to become the first ever two time AND back-to-back winner in BFDI history. Driven by her intense, unapologetic spite and determination, Fanny isn't joining season 7 just to participate; she is here to crush the competition twice in a row. However, this creates a target on her back right from the start. Since Fanny is coming into season 7 as the previous winner, every other contestant (except those on her team, naturally) views her as a massive thread. This forces Fanny into a position where she risks getting sabotaged, ganged up on, and constantly targeted during challenges. Rather than backing down or breaking under the pressure, Fanny doubles down on her signature attitude. However, this arc would only happen IF Fanny actually wins TPOT. If she loses or places lower in the TPOT finale, she would just be her normal self. And speaking of Fanny…
2: F•R•C alliance arc: With Fanny, Remote, and Cake on the same team (H.A.T.E), this would be a perfect opportunity for my favourite trio to finally shine! If you’ve seen my other posts or edits, you already know it’s me who came up with this fan trio, it’s me who coined the trio name, and it’s me who is pushing the F•R•C agenda as much as I can! This dynamic allows Fanny and Remote to show off their incredible potential as co-leaders, but they also act as supportive friends who help Cake find his own confidence. It's a solid arc for the three of them that balances wholesome friendship with their shared competitive drive, giving us a trio that can completely dominate the competition.
3: Clapboard Mentorship Arc: Another arc that taking place on the team H.A.T.E involves one of the two team rookies, Clapboard. Fanny and Remote (mainly Fanny) have seen the potential in Clapboard and decided to take him under their wing as their prodigy. Since Clapboard has spent so much time on the sidelines as a failed debuter, having two experienced, headstrong competitors show him the ropes is exactly what he needs. Fanny’s uncompromising, blunt honesty paired with Remote’s logical, goal-oriented mindset creates a surprisingly balanced coaching style for the rookie. It gives Clapboard a platform to find his footing, step out of his comfort zone, and prove to everyone that he has the potential to be a serious competitor. If deemed successful, Clapboard might just be the next big thing in BFDI.
4: Robot Flower’s Leadership Arc: So Robot Flower is going through a bit of self reflection. After being a horrible person in a majority of TPOT and having that whole 'I just want to be the real Flower' arc, she is ready to turn over a new leaf. In this season, she has fully embraced being her robotic self and is working on being a genuinely good person. To prove she can lead by example, she forms and leads her own squad: "The Not-So Mechanical Minds". After realizing Remote is locked in with Fanny, and TV has joined forces with Golf Ball's crew, Robot Flower decides to recruit the only other mechanical mind left in the game: Roboty. She sees a kindred spirit in him and is determined to help him find his voice, or at least translate his Morse code so the rest of the team actually knows what he's saying. At the same time, her leadership will be put to the test by PDA, the resident intellectual whose narcissistic attitude leads to some hilarious head-butting with Robot Flower.
5: the Winner-Clock Arc 2: Electric Boogaloo: In TPOT, Clock and Winner had an arc where Clock’s overbearing obsession drove a wedge between them, leading to Winner snapping in TPOT 3 and Clock’s eventual elimination in TPOT 7 which led to the two reconciling in TPOT 10. With Loser taking kind of a backseat while also being the team’s leader, this leads to Winner and Clock forming quite the duo together, this time as actual equal friends without any of the toxic celebrity worship. With Clock being completely past his Winner obsession phase and back to his mature, sometimes cynical, and logical self, he can finally support Winner on equal ground. Winner also doesn't have to carry the burden of Clock's smothering expectations anymore, which lets them relax and just enjoy playing the game. Together, they can tackle challenges with a fresh, healthy dynamic, proving how much they've both grown since early TPOT.
6: Golf Ball and 8-Ball’s Co-Leadership Arc… Again: So Golf Ball and 8 Ball have finally buried the hatchet. For the first time since the BFB days, they’re back on one time but this time as co-leaders who actually respect each other. It’s a massive step forward for both of them, proving they can share the spotlight and get things done when they work together.
7: One-Black Hole Arc: in TPOT, we had Two and Gaty, and in season 7, we’re about to have another therapist friend-Algebralien dynamic. Expanding on their interactions in TPOT 24 and One’s redemption arc, we will see more of One and Black Hole. Just like Gaty was always there to listen to Two’s struggles, Black Hole becomes that safe space for One to talk through… basically anything, not just her trauma and solitary confinement. It’s a slow-burn, organic friendship that feels genuine and meaningful.
8: Cake’s Independence Arc: It’s time to give Cake his full independence. For years, Cake has been written mainly as a loyal follower of Loser, struggling to make a name for himself outside of that dynamic. While we do end up seeing a bit of progress from Cake, especially in TPOT 22, that isn’t enough. Cake needs a full arc. It begins with Cake politely but also firmly shutting down Loser when he offered to team up with him. Cake still respects Loser and still considers him a good friend, but he wants to be his own person now and desperately needs a break from being defined by his relationship with him. With the confidence and assertiveness he gained during TPOT 22, he linked up with Fanny and Remote to form F•R•C and is ready to make his name known. He’s actively contributing to challenges and is on his way to becoming the most improved player of the season.
So, that’s my overall vision for how a hypothetical Season 7 would play out. Note that this is not meant to be realistic and is mostly just a fun, highly self-indulgent passion project. We all know JnJ is probably going to take the actual show in a completely different direction, but this is basically how I would tackle season 7 if I were calling the shots in the writers' room. Unlike most season 7 concepts, it doesn’t have a gimmick like an underdog season or all stars season. It’s your standard setup.
Anyway, that pretty much covers my entire vision for how this season would go. It's obviously just a highly self-indulgent, fun concept that ties up the loose ends of my How I Would Write a One Redemption Arc Post-Trilogy fanfic, but I hope it gives a good idea of how I would handle season 7.
What do y'all think of this setup? Would you watch this season, or would you be boycotting jacknjellify if they do something like this? Who do you think would be the first one eliminated? Who do you think would be in the final 3? And if you have any cool ideas for a season name other than Sevenfold, definitely drop them in the comments below
Anyway, this is Mr. TV, signing out Catch ya later, mates! ✌️
EDIT: For one of the challenges, I can imagine like a 30-45 minute episode heavily inspired by Wild ‘n Out where for one episode only, the contestants are split into two teams (with One (Blue Squad) and Two (Green Squad) as the captains, and Black Hole coming back as a one-off contestant) and they face off in a series of comedy improv and roast battles like Got Damned, Talking Spit, Plead the Fifth, Can I Cancel?, Hood Jeopardy, and of course, the iconic Wildstyle to cap it all off.
“You’re so needy, I see why I hate you.”
Needy = Needle
I see why = I C Y ICY
fries gets deleted instead of basketball here
they are both twins
I did 2 versions of each one (which is is the captions after the name in parenthesis)
just want to know which version you like best for each one
singularity is the name for one x black hole
What are your guys’ opinion on Pencil deciding to quit TPOT?
I would have been a bit upset, but it works for Pencil since she really needed her friends back, and she doesn’t need the power for that.
Tho it is kinda weird since she was up for voting one time
G’day mates, it’s Mr. TV here. So, TPOT 24 just gave us another potential parallel between One and Two. For those who don’t know, One and Two have a lot of parallels, especially with their respective backstories. Before we actually begin the post, let’s do a rundown of what those parallels are.
First off, at some point in their lives, they were both outcasts who felt isolated from their own kind. The first example of it being One, who prior to the 2009 incident was essentially rejected and left out by the other Algebraliens and to this day, we don’t even have a reason to why that’s the case. Then we head to TPOT 21 and can you guess whose backstory revealed a similar story of being outcasted. Yep, Two! We found out that after the 2009 incident and after most of the Algebraliens left the Equation Playground, Two struggled to fit in. No matter where they went, they couldn’t find a place where they belonged. They tried a few different facades and planets, pretending they were fine and that nothing could hurt them, but nothing ever really stuck. They even came to Earth to see Four and X, only to realize they were barely remembered, leaving them feeling completely disconnected. But the difference between those two is that Two would eventually find their footing, stealing half of Four’s contestants and creating their own show, finally finding a sense of belonging and appreciation. Meanwhile, One stayed isolated, letting her resentment build up until she decided to take power by force.
Now you probably be like ‘where are the other parallels? You said ‘ a few of them’, didn’t you?’ Yeah, my bad, I got a bit carried away. Let’s get to the actual point now.
So all of you probably know that Two’s best friend is Gaty, and Gaty is essentially Two’s personal therapist. Ever since TPOT 2 (up until TPOT 15), Gaty and Two were seen having these couch chats where Two could let down their guard and vent. Gaty didn't treat them like an untouchable host; she just listened, asked the right questions, and offered a calm, grounded perspective. She was essentially the one person Two could be completely vulnerable with. When One erased Gaty in TPOT 15, it made sense for Two to go into a depression spiral that lasted a year. Two’s pale skin, elongated limbs, and total unresponsiveness during that arc showed just how much Gaty’s absence affected them. She was the anchor keeping Two grounded, and without her, they completely fell apart.
Now, TPOT 24 dropped and with how jacknjellify was teasing the episode, we were expecting a massive fight/showdown between One and Black Hole, but what we actually got was completely different. To fully grasp why this is a potential parallel (not saying it is one), we have to look at the play-by-play of this scene[
Instead of a chaotic battle of raw power, we got a surprisingly quiet, almost intimate heart-to-heart inside One's realm. Well, at first, it looked like shit was about to go down, with Black Hole trying to escape and One threatening to erase Fanny, but that had a quick change when Black Hole found out what One’s board was all about and then saw the drawing of Three under the text “RECOVER”. He completely shifts the tone of the room. He asks her: “What happened? T-TELL ME! Tell me what happened, okay? What happened? O-over, yeah over here! Come on!
At first, things seemed incredibly tense One got defensive, shouting at him to watch it because he accidentally sucked up her stool She tried to zap him with her eye lasers, but because he's a literal black hole, those attacks did absolutely nothing. However, instead of escalating into a massive battle of cosmic proportions, One told Black Hole that she has more power than Four but she can move him and that’s it. Black Hole pointed out that she has a whole of power and is unsure what to do with it.
One then vent about how she just wants people to know what she went through, that all the numbers can be alone. And that’s when Black Hole was like “Just because Just because something bad happened to you doesn’t mean you can do this to all of us too. You’re not avenging Three that way,” which One retaliated by saying that it’s the only way, which got Black Hole confused.
One’s rewind device then teleports and One told Black Hole that the device wasn’t for Pencil at first and that she tried playing all the different possibilities, but she was returned to the moon, or zapped and hurt and that the only option was to steal the power and hold everyone back. Black Hole then asked if she played out every scenario and One straight-up admitted that she had. Enough times to know that “playing nice” was never going to get her back to Three. He pressed further, asking why she didn’t just go back to the exact moment everything went wrong in the first place. One’s voice got quieter, almost tired, as she explained that she had tried that route too. She rewound, changed variables, tried different approaches… but every single altered timeline still left her dealing with versions of Four and Two who weren’t the ones who had ever let her get close. The ones who actually mattered weren’t reachable that way. So the only path that still made sense in her head was the nuclear option: take the power, freeze everyone in place, and force the conditions she needed to finally recover Three properly. She said that it wasn’t fair, she deserved an apology, and for the Algebraliens to right the wrong, which Black Hole pointed out to be revenge. One doubled down, saying that it’s not fair to erase what happened to her, that the Algebraliens should be sorry for trapping her away and that they will be once she fixes Three. She then floated away and Black Hole was like “Yeesh” before One tried to zap him again.
Later on, we see Marker pops out right near Black Hole, all excited and optimistic as usual, but Black Hole shushed him which perfectly turned into a “SSSSSHALL”’ as he told One that they shall keep talking about stuff. One started to become confused, especially when Black Hole told Marker that he got to get him out of the realm. Black Hole then cleared his throat and clarified that he meant getting One out of the rut she was in. He kept the conversation going in this awkwardly optimistic, almost forced-cheerful way, saying stuff like “C’mon, you can’t be moping around like this!” and trying to guide her toward the door while still keeping Marker shielded behind him. One was clearly thrown off by the sudden shift in energy, calling the whole thing weird, but Black Hole just laughed it off and kept pushing the “let’s get you out of this isolation” angle.
We see One and Black Hole entered the garden as One told him that the power takes time, that she pretty sure he wouldn’t know how to suck up something grand like a galaxy, but maybe with time, he could. She then said that once she has made everyone feel what she felt, she can return to Three and recover her, then everyone can move on. Black Hole then told Marker to come with him and once again, One acted confused, which caused Black Hole to drift the attention to the red door, complimenting the craftsmanship. One, still a bit off-balance from the sudden cheerful energy, actually softens for a secondand agrees that she did a pretty good job with everything in her realm. She then said that maybe if everything goes right, she can help fix the Hotel once everything’s sorted (which by the way is the biggest hint we ever gotten at a redemption arc for One).
Black Hole then talked about how he wish he could flowers, saying that’s one of the reasons he wants those kinds of powers in the first place. One pointed out the irony right to his face: he’s got so much raw power already, yet he can’t do something as simple and ordinary as smelling a flower. For a second the conversation almost felt… soft as she was like “Black Hole, I—” before Black Hole told Marker to go through the door and that’s when Marker’s cover was blown and boy was One pissed. Marker’s cover was completely blown the second Black Hole told him to go through the red door. Marker starts begging Black Hole to come with him, but the door vanishes right as One realises there’s been a third party in the room the entire time. Black Hole tries to play it cool for half a second, voice cracking a little as he attempts to keep the conversation going, but One’s already spiralling.
She goes full meltdown. Eye lasers start firing in every direction, scorching her own realm while she screams that Black Hole tricked her. That he only pretended to understand her, that he only pretended to care. You can hear the raw betrayal in her voice. Years of isolation, of being shut out, of nobody ever actually listening, and the first person who seemed willing to sit with her pain turns out to have been hiding someone the whole time. Black Hole keeps apologising, keeps trying to de-escalate, but the damage is done. He points out that having immense power doesn’t mean you automatically go nuts with it, that he’s spent his entire existence learning to control what he’s capable of, and that right now One only seems to care about herself. It’s not cruel. It’s just honest. And that honesty is the last straw.
One has had enough. She teleports out of the realm entirely, leaving Black Hole and Marker behind. You hear Black Hole’s panicked “WAIT. NO!” as he realises exactly where she’s going. She reappears in her control room, checks the monitors, and sees the contestants finally uniting against her. She’s fuming. Black Hole tries one last distraction by sucking up more of her stuff, but One just glares at him in probably the most ICONIC WAY POSSIBLE and teleports straight to Earth to confront everyone.
I don’t wanna talk about the rest of the episode, but one thing I wanna talk about is the part where Fanny communicates with Black Hole through the broadcast system. When she realizes Black Hole and Marker are still trapped inside One's pocket dimension, she doesn't tell them to play it safe. Instead, she yells at him to destroy the entire dimension from the inside out to hold One back and ruin her plans.
But what is really fascinating here is Black Hole's immediate hesitation. He tells her, "No, Fanny! I.. can't.." Why? On one hand, you have his obvious Death P.A.C.T. Again morals, destroying an entire dimension goes completely against his core programming of preventing death and avoiding needless destruction. However, as I mentioned in one of the earlier posts, I have a theory that another reason why Black Hole was hesitant to destroy One’s dimension is that he actually genuinely started to connect with her during their brief heart-to-heart. I believe that Black Hole actually do care about One and that after everything, he doesn’t see One as a irredeemable monster, he sees her as a broken soul who was failed by the very failed by the very Algebraliens she wanted to belong with.
So that’s a MASSIVE rundown of the scene itself. Now this scene alone leaves me wondering: if Gaty is like a therapist friend of Two, could Black Hole be the exact same person for One?
Well, right now, the answer is a resounding no. Black Hole and One aren’t really friends, let alone in a stable therapist-patient dynamic like Two and Gaty, and with everything that went down after Marker’s cover was blown, I’m not too sure if One even trusts him, especially since her severe PTSD led to her believing that Black Hole was just using her to lower her guard. So how will we know if Black Hole and One’s dynamic is similar to Two and Gaty’s? Two words: TPOT 25.
TPOT 25 is quite literally a life or death situation for One because she is fighting against EVERYONE and we don’t know if the writers are going to kill her off, send her back to the moon, or actually try to reform her with a genuine redemption arc. If they go with the last choice, Black Hole could be the main reason for it to happen. Why?
Well, I have a theory that if One were to go down a redemption route, during the battle in TPOT 25, I could see Black Hole talking some sense into One. I even made a whole fan script about it, which I will leave in the comments. If Black Hole is successful in doing such thing and One does begin a redemption arc, this could lead to a new dynamic where Black Hole becomes the Gaty to One’s Two and that interaction in TPOT 24 could be the crucial starting point, because in that episode, Black Hole actually felt like a therapist for One. He lowkey gave me Gaty vibes, and the funny thing is, they are voiced by the same voice actor, Satomi Hinatsu!
But voice actors aside, the thematic writing here is what really makes this theory hold some weight. If you look closely at Black Hole’s history, he is actually remarkably well-suited to help One in a way that almost no other contestant on Earth can.
Before TPOT 24, I actually had Two pinned as the most likely candidate to redeem One. I figured that since Two went through a similar isolation phase before hosting TPOT, they would be the best person to understand her trauma and talk her down. I still think they could be a perfect deuteragonist for a One redemption arc, but as for the person who redeems her and become the person who help One process her trauma, Black Hole is slowly shaping up to be the ideal candidate. Black Hole could be the Gaty-like figure for One who helps her get her life back on track, who helps her heal from her PTSD, and TPOT 24 just became the sole reason why I am genuinely leaning into Black Hole being that person for One.
But hey, that’s just an analysis… A BFDI ANALYSIS! (Yes, I had to do it, MatPat style).
Anyway, that’s my massive brain dump for today! What do you guys think? Do you see the vision of Black Hole becoming One's Gaty-like figure, or do you think I'm just overanalyzing what might be a one-off moment of tension? Let me know in the comments below. Well, we can’t call it a parallel right now, but if TPOT 25 goes a certain route, we might just see it come to fruition.
Watch out y‘all, One is pulling a Fifteen and has a flamethrower… with no safety on 😏
