Thank to Binance

So i hereby would like to reach out and thank Binance for making it very clear that they do not support devs that build architecture and mobile apps that runs on their system data for analytical purposes. As I built 2 apks that solely relies on crypto data directly from binance, and the post was removed for "begging", because I asked for people who are interested to test the apks, which will also benefit me to get it released on playstore. But that seems to be a huge problem for the mods of the channel.

So lesson learned, I will now rebuild both apks to not have any Binance dependancies, and instead use different exchanges for data. With that being said, I am also actively developing a broad market analytical institutional grade architecture that consumes a ton of crypto data directly from multiple sources, whereas Binance was the primary source. That will also stop now with immediate effect, and the primary data source will be become someone else.

If Binance does not need users and developers like me to actively promote the platform by building on top of their system, then fair, I will go where its more appreciated then. I di not ask for anything besides tester, to help me finalize builds to help specifically binance users with powerful tools.

Thank you Binance

Best alternative for a $100k stablecoin to BTC swap on Tangem?

My friend needs to swap roughly $100,000 USD worth of stablecoins into Bitcoin. The funds are currently sitting safely in a Tangem Wallet.

After learning about the horrific compliance traps and long-term fund freezing on third-party instant swap apps like Changelly, we are absolutely not using them or any integrated provider that can trigger a surprise KYC lock mid-swap.

What is the safest way to execute a swap of this size directly from cold storage?

If we go the DEX route via WalletConnect (e.g., 1inch/Uniswap), what is the best way to move from a wrapped asset like WBTC to native BTC safely?

If we choose a major centralized exchange (like Kraken or Binance), do their OTC desks handle these transitions smoothly without flagging external hardware wallet deposits?

Looking for secure, non-custodial suggestions or platforms with deep liquidity that won't hold funds hostage

Sent TRX via off-chain transfer, recipient says he never got it — how do off-chain transfers actually get disputed/verified?

Made a withdrawal of 909 TRX to a TRC20 address, off-chain transfer, shows "Completed," 0 fee. [Screenshot attached]

Recipient's notice said USDT-TRC20 only, warned other assets "may be lost." I mistakenly sent TRX instead of USDT. He's saying he received nothing.

Since it went off-chain, I'm assuming that address is a Binance account — so shouldn't the TRX still be sitting there as an asset, just not the currency he wanted? Or can a wrong-asset off-chain deposit actually go missing/unrecoverable like their notice claims?

Curious if anyone's dealt with this exact scenario.

Edit:

I got in contact with binance support and they also confirmed that the recipient is a binance account and the transaction was successful.

P2P Appeal Review: 8 Days of Incompetence – Special Treatment for Scammer Merchant, Total Injustice for Honest Traders!

P2P Appeal Review: 8 Days of Incompetence – Special Treatment for Scammer Merchant, Total Injustice for Honest Traders!
Warning to all P2P users! My crypto assets of more 2500+ USDT (valued at €2,000+) have been held hostage for 8 FULL DAYS since June 25th because Customer Support keeps protecting a clear fraudster just because of their "Merchant status."
📌 Case Summary:

  1. Forged Document: The buyer uploaded a FAKE payment slip. I provided definitive proof directly from the bank’s Compliance team officially confirming the forgery. Yet, CS acts like blind robots and refuses to make a final decision.
  2. Unfair Merchant Bias: Just because the buyer holds a 'Merchant' badge doesn't give them the right to abuse the platform. CS is giving them special treatment and extending deadlines repeatedly on a proven fake slip, which is completely unfair to me. My funds are frozen, causing massive liquidity damage.

Binance is getting restricted in Europe… time to finally move to a cold wallet?

I have been using Binance for about 4 years and never really felt the need to self-custody. It was just convenient to keep everything on the exchange.

But with the new regulations rolling out across Europe this July, I'm starting to think it's time to move most of my holdings off exchanges.

I still want to trade occasionally, but I don't like the idea of relying on a platform that could lose access in my country or change what services are available.

The problem is that I'm not super technical, and I travel a lot, so I don't want to deal with a complicated setup.

What cold wallet would you recommend? Has anyone here tried Tangem? Is it reliable for long-term use and travel?

Binance EU thing is being framed much more negatively than it deserves

Have been seeing a lot of CEXs are fundamentally broken takes after the binance eu lockout, and I think thats overreading a very narrow event.

What actually happened is that one company didnt get a specific license by a deadline in one regulatory bloc, while three of its direct competitors did. Its withdrawals still work and binance itself says its actively pursuing a license in france and expects to be back within months which is closer to company temporarily losing permit in one region than the CEX model is dead.

Compare it to what an actual systemic event looks like m, FTX for instance where funds were gone, nobody's out any money here. The worst case for most users is to use kraken or coinbase for a few months lol which is an inconvenience, (not crisis)

The self custody argument is a good argument on its own merits and it just doesnt need this event to be bigger than it is to be true, the fact that funds are safe and withdrawable is binance's system working as intended under a licensing failure

Only place I would half concede if you were already sitting on the fence about moving some trading onchain (i havve had a slice on ostium for RWA/FX/gold exposure for a while now, unrelated to any of this), an event like this is a reasonable nudge to actually do it ,just dont let it talk you into believing the sky's falling on CEXs generally.

Where I think this gets interesting is longer term, iff Binance is locked out for months and users route around it fine, thats actually the bearish case for Binance specifically regardless of what it says about CEXs generally.does anyone thinks I'm underrating this though?

Deposited significant Crypto asset to unsupported network ?

Has anyone ever made the blunder of depositing a crypto asset to an unsupported network on Binance.

If yes then after how much time you got your stuck assets back. ?

If not, then how long you have been waiting for that ?

Other major crypto exchanges were able to get their Mica licence to operate in the EU. Binance was not able to get it. Why is that?

Per title. A major company like Binance is not able to do what many other crypto companies, big and small, were able to.

This doesn't inspire confidence in Binance. What's going on?

Operating from Spain

Binance is supposed to comply with the MiCA law, but it won't let me trade; when I try to buy BTCUSD or BTCEUR, I see the following message:

Dear User: In accordance with our Terms of Use and to comply with local regulations, these features are not available in your region.

How to view transaction history beyond 12 months ago?

Hi, a quick Google search took me to this post from a couple of days ago which is now locked. When I try to view my older history using the link provided, I get an error message saying "Only supports querying data from the past 12 months."

Thanks

Future of Binance in EU

Binance already stated that it's not leaving EU permanently, with the intention to resume services once it secures MiCA authorization in another EU jurisdiction.

Hello,

Almost everything is in the title. I couldn't find a reliable source to answer that question. Can you please attach a link answering the question in that title, please?
