Why did JLS only focus on the UK & Ireland, briefly the US?

Out of the 2010s boybands: JLS, The Wanted and One Direction. I believe JLS were overall the best.

Vocals, stage shows, songs, charisma, range of genres.

I can't understand why they never tried for success outside of the UK, Ireland and briefly in America with Everybody in Love (2010). Their potential was huge championed by Jay Z, Alicia Keys, and Rihanna.

As far as I'm aware they were the only super successful UK group not to promote in Europe and Asia, which is a given.

I have read that they didn't want to be as big as One Direction but I find that hard to believe when you start on the same reality tv show, The X Factor.

They are like this huge secret nobody knows about outside the UK/Ireland but everytime I mention them to foreign friends the feedback is always how much better they are than 1D and The Wanted.

How big do you believe they could have been overseas? I think they would have been similar to Blue, slightly below that huge threshold.

Dream street in documentaries

Currently watching boyband confidential, and I’m wondering why Dream Street is never included in any of these documentaries. They seem to fit the mold for being managed by Lou Pearlman, taking him to court, having kind of a tragedy occur.

I know they weren’t a HUGE boyband, but curious if anyone has insight on this ?

Lance and Joey just landed a new show on E!, and you'll never guess what it's about 😅

Cocktails!!!

It looks like they'll be the hosts of a new show called Cocktail Wars that'll premiere later this summer on E!
