Howdy boys and girls!
I am at just over 3600 miles and have officially gone through my rear tire. Got off the bike after a nice 220+ mile ride and noticed I can just barely see what is definitely not rubber poking through.
I guess my question is how long did yalls first tires last and what was the tire you put on next? I’ve got a buddy who works for Pirelli and get get me a great deal, but want to hear what other options you all went for! Thanks guys can’t wait to hear your advice
Hey. I have a 2024 CBR650R, this is my second season with it, loving it.
I have some things I’m wondering if anybody experiences it or just me.
Stuck at neutral. It’s extremely easy to put it into N which is nice but in acceleration sometime I don’t kick hard enough and goes into neutral and I get stuck and it takes few kicks to change it to second gear.
Sometimes when I’m about to take off from a full stop I clutch out but I don’t have enough “power” or the bike doesn’t start moving enough but other times it’s like a rocket going on clutch point. (It’s not because I’m on an incline or decline and I’m giving the same amount of gas when I take off, it’s specifically the clutch point) It’s not doing it every stop but I would say 2/10 times. Mechanic said it he didn’t find any issue)
Sometimes the bike doesn’t have engine braking when I’m on second gear. I let the throttle go but it’s just going like a rocket with about 25-26 and not losing power at all.
Anybody experience these?
I have fuel in my oil, it smells like petrol. Where do I go from here
Pretty upset as my bike isn’t rideable now would anyone know what this part would be called? Found it cracked at one of the pinch bolts.
Hello guys, I’m kinda new to the motorcycle stuff. I’ve ridden my 2025 Honda CBR650R for about 24,000 km in total, so quite a lot by now.
I had an issue recently. Right before I was planning to replace the chain with a new one, it snapped while I was riding at around 20 km/h in the city.
At first, I wasn’t really mad or anything, until I noticed that a part of the actual engine case had broken off. I assume it’s just the part that the chain sprocket cover/bolts are mounted to, but I’m not entirely sure.
So now I’m wondering what I should do. Can I just replace the broken part, put on a new chain and continue riding, or could there be more damage that I need to check first?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi all,
I recently bought a Honda CBR650R E-Clutch from 2026, and the only option I have for an aftermarket exhaust which needs to be EC/ECE approved Euro 5+, and with 2 Lambda sensors is the Racing Line series from Akrapovic. The problem with that exhaust is that it doesn't really make the bike sounds that much better than the factory exhaust, and it cost an equivalent to $2600 USD / €2250 Euro. (Other exhausts cost as low as $1600 / €1250)
I have found other exhaust that sounds much better, which fits the bike, has all the homologations in order and with 2 lambda sensors as well. But I have written to Honda, asking if fitting any of these exhaust will void the warranty - which they have told me it will, which I find surprising.
I have attached a picture of the said Akrapovic exhaust which my dealer has recommended to me, which is also the only exhaust that they have heard of "fits" the bike. I know that you can pull out the dB killer which might make the bike sound that much better, but it still annoys me that other exhaust for the bike sounds much better even with the dB killer installed correctly.
The other attached picture is of one of the other exhaust I have found that fits the bike which I really like the sound of.
Would you fit the bike with an exhaust even it it voids warranty? Or keep it stuck until 2031 when the factory warranty runs out.
I'd like to know what you guys have done to yours 😄
I am located in Denmark if that makes it easier to provide an answer to my question.
Kind regards, Frederik from Denmark
Hi guys,
Am getting a factory new cbr650r 2026 soon as a begginner ive done some research already and was thinking whats your thoughts about that, and am looking for a best sounding exhaust with db killer and cat and without them.
Thanks,
I’ve been hearing this popping noise ever since swapping out my exhaust, i’m guessing i forgot the little gasket by the headers?
Is this rideable for a couple days until i get new ones?
Appreciate any help!:)
Hi I have a 2026 and was looking for different exhaust anyone got suggestions on any.
I saw the arrow that revzilla sold but 1400$ is a lot if there are similar not as pricey ones
Hiya everybody.
I’ve got a cbr650r e clutch 2024. It looks like a lite version of the sc77 1000r. I’m hoping if anyone knows where I can get a sportier pillion seat for it.
I’m still wanting the capability of taking someone out occasionally but I’m just wanting the pillion seat to be its own separate thing other than merging with the rider seat.
Also do you guys recommend getting side panels as I’m really wanting to lean into that sc77 vibe.
Thanks in advance everyone!
I was looking on changing my exhaust but don’t know if full is worth the performance or just getting a slip on do u think the full is worth the performance and what exhaust do u think are and sound good
Leaving work on a 9 degree day with TC still on will catch you off guard everytime 😂
On a seperate note, full akro is the best sounding exhaust.
I just installed an akrapovic system on my 2026 cbr650r e-clutch but I noticed a spring hitting the fairing? Is that normal? It looks like it "melted" on a little spot taking the form of the spring.
Thanks!
Hey everyone,
Looking for some advice from anyone running a stage 2 tune on a CBR650R.
I’m planning to get a Stage 2 ecu flash (decat full system Arrow exhaust + sports air filter). However, because of local noise laws and cops in my area, I’ll need to keep the DB killer in most of the time.
For those of you running a similar setup: Does the baffle completely kill the pops and bangs, or are they still audible (just muffled)?
I got mine a week ago on August 3rd from Martin Moto in Boyertown. The guy I worked with, Dalton, was phenomenal!👌 I live close to 250 miles from them and these guys delivered it all the way out to me!!! I haven't had a bike in 15 years and the last 5 to 10 years I wanted one but kept pushing it off from various dumb reasons. I am so glad I finally decided to get a bike and that it is a Honda CBR650R! My last bike was a Kawasaki ninja and I loved that bike but to me this Honda just feels so much better. I get that it is a little bit more weight than the 600rr and other supersports, but it's barely noticeable to me. I highly recommend anyone on the fence with this bike to just go and get it already!!!
Hey everyone,
Since the CBR650R E-Clutch doesn't have a auto-blipper, how do I properly rev-match downshift with it?
Do I leave my left hand completely off the lever and just blip the throttle right as I click the shifter?
Right now, if my timing isn't perfect, the E-Clutch just slips the gear in silently before my blip registers. How are other owners handling this?
Thanks!
