I encourage every hero in this game to jump and tilt every single Cloak and Dagger player using the Luna teamup. Make them waste their cooldowns, make them sweat and shiver, make them ping for help. Dive them, brawl them, poke them, as long as any and all Cloak and Dagger players using the Luna teamup die? I’m satisfied.

For context: I am close to Lord Hood, and was playing a comp match with a Jubilee (using the Blade teamup which is the weaker teamup) and a Cloak and Dagger (using the f\*cking aforementioned Luna teamup) and I asked hey you guys, can you switch teamups so we can have the enhanced teamups (i’m the Hood)? Both say immediately, no, these teamups are better. I shrug my shoulders and go okay whatever.

The game is going alright, on the Krakoa convoy map, i’m doing everything a Vanguard should be doing, but I keep seeing both supports dying, and I’m barely getting any heals, so I check the scoreboard to see what’s going on.

Here’s their mid-match stats
Jubilee 4K, 9D
Dagger 2K, 10D

Already negative tilted in this match? Am I not peeling for them? The enemy team is running Starlord and Mantis, who are the two killing my supports, so I begin to make a conscious effort to peel for them even more so than usual. Still, barely any healing from them. One of the DPS swaps to White Fox and we finally start pushing the point. I ask again “Guys switch to the Hood teamup” “NO, WERE GETTING DOVE AND YOURE NOT HELPING, NO PEELS NO HEALS” (there’s no dive)

both of them are burning their cooldowns and not positioning correctly, so no amount of peeling is gonna help when I’m solo tanking as is.

I snap. I immediately decide to let the both of them die without a single shield on them the rest of the game, my other teammates in agreement. We lose the match, but both the supports (white fox swap carried the heals) went WAYYY negative in tilt.

At the end I got SVP, 43k damage blocked (highest in the lobby). Jubilee heals at 9k, Dagger heals at 8k, White Fox who swapped mid match got 9k heals.

Cloak and Dagger mains, USE THE HOOD TEAMMUP, SO MUCH BETTER. JUBILEE ALSO USE THE HOOD TEAMMUP, ITS INFINITELY MORE BETTER!

At this point the only players using the Luna Teamup are low skill high anxiety support healbot bchs who want to blame their vanguards and duelists for not saving them when they’re so crappy at this game that nobody can save them from it.

You can polish a cat turd till it sparkles but it’s still a piece of turd.

Screw you Cloak and Dagger mains who use the Luna teamup, and screw you Jubilee mains who use the Blade teamup.

Hi all! I have not seen this noted yet but when i am on dagger, switch to cloak to throw out a spooky rectangle, then back to dagger, which I have done literally 20,000 times, I noticed that when I have the Hood teamup on, the spooky rectangle does not come out with normal timing. I need to wait an extra half second before launching it.

I noticed this because without teamup, I switch, blind, switch back and I have that timing so automatic in my mind. I do it with the Hood teamup on and now I end up switching to Cloak, pressing blind button, it doing nothing, switching back to dagger... The timing must be miniscule and not actually half a second but I definitely notice it! Nothing in patch notes or forums on it but it is throwing off my gameplay.

Anyone notice this?

INSANE CLOAK's FINAL TIP #100: "Precast" more.

When you have an ally (especially DPS) that is peaking or out of position getting an angle like Hela/widow, you should be dagger healing even when nothing is happening. Reacting to an ally like this getting 2 tapped is way too late. You can save your DPS so often by doing this. Drop your accuracy % a bit and get in the habit of precasting.

When your tanks get pressed and your healer needs help with them, be in that position when you can pivot.

I like to play both lanes and be close to tanks at normal midrange so I can walk up, spooky rectangle enemies at an angle then back up to healing. I take it as a death myself if I let a DPS die that I could have saved just by not being greedy on the tank heal dumping. Trust your other healer to do their job.

Like I get being annoyed about auto aim or whatever and like there are some aspects mechanically that make CnD feel a little cheesy. However, I find this character has such a stigma around it and I don’t get it? Like most people have been incredibly friendly to me on this game but it feels like some people are blatantly misogynistic or outright discriminate against CnD players.

Like whenever I play white fox, invisible woman or rocket people are fine but cloak and dagger is too far. For context I’m a guy and I’ve had multiple people scream and shout at me saying I should go back to the kitchen or whatever. Like I just had a game where a bunch of “streamers” shouted at me because I didn’t like using the hood team up. I don’t understand why people get so worked up over the game and need to put their teammates down over it.

I used to be able to just float, but it hasn't been working. I'd switch to cloak, ult, then hit L2 and float away. Now I'm getting hit as I complete the dashes or on my second or third dash.

I can't bait him out, he just saves it up for me. And with his crazy damage this season he gets the ult at the same rate I do. I try to ban him but it doesn't always work.

I thought about going to ice mode (Luna teamup) but if I just sit there tapping circle on the final dash, there's a chance I'll go icy then cancel it. And he can still kill me before I finish dashing because he's barely gotta aim that thing.

What do you do to avoid magneto's ult?
