the added value you can get from it is worth it imo and especially if hood is on ur team
we all know the luna teamup by now, it’s been memed and criticised & most know how handy it can be but unlike some heroes in the game, both teamup options are worth choosing & maybe more CND players should be picking up the hood teamup more often!
It wasn’t even that old of an issue either being set at the end of Civil War, I can see why some people didn’t love the age gap but they do make a point of stating they met again years later, it’s quite a direct contradiction between these 2 pages though
I like both a lot; her current aesthetic is really great though & I’m gonna miss the braid
She doesn’t need to have her new mutants suit either as it can be adapted into a completely different look
I do enjoy her current notable style definitely, would be a shame to see her original design go unused indefinitely tho

Having a consistent long range option for SW feels very nice, I can see where she might fall a little short in other areas & I’ve not used the Jubi team-up yet but this new take on the strange ability is a win in my book!
The Wanda team-up may be inferior but it does feel good to be using that blade, didn’t play much comp in S8 so only got plat 1, this was first game after placements into gold 1 so low ranks but Mag feels as consistent & viable as ever
Their team crumbled by end of first convoy so was easy pickings at the end
Jokes aside I was curious when we’d start seeing repeated poses on these, happened quicker than I thought though
Some saying it doesn’t match her, others that the voice direction isn’t great; other than 1 single line that I thought sounded a little off which I can’t even remember it now, I’ve no issue with her VO
There’s other heros in game that have worse VO imo
I’ve just finished up with New X-Men (I think), are the issues that cross into the Messiah CompleX event the last New X-Men issues? I’ve seen online mention of Laura & Hellions relationship but at the point where I’m up to, they only have minor feelings for eachother & haven’t properly connected yet
Do these relationships develop in her solo run that’s set after X-Force? Or am I missing some issues from other runs that expand on the post New X-Men stuff, I’m a little confused & any help is appreciated, thanks!

Of all the animations it coulda triggered on him, this did get a guilty chuckle out of me
Done many playthroughs & always end up exhausting the optional dialogues, noticed that V gives an alternate line to this gun dealer if you use the Sotara shotgun & I appreciate that small detail
Have enjoyed Jessica Drew as a character in various ensemble runs but have yet to delve into her solo catalogue, are there any where she’s technically the queen skrull? Or was all that contained to the other stories
I actually didn’t mind some of her style on the initial skin she debuted with but I’m glad they’ve pivoted a little to her more recognisable features, she looks great!

During The Nimrod arc of New X-Men nimrod designates Laura as ‘Talon’, other than the epilogue of Target X I was under the impression that the next time Talon is associated with Laura was during the Krakoan vault incident, was caught slightly off guard by this. Are there any other instances?
Do they really end up sleeping with eachother due to this? As Emma is taking both their clothes off but I’ve not read this arc, just saw it in the wild & didn’t know how to feel about it
She was established as a couple years older than Peter & was initially drawn to look his age but recently it seems to me like she’s drawn with a younger and smaller look to her. That coupled with her claiming to be “mid thirties” when she’s supposed to be around 32 has me thinking they want her to be considered closer in maturity & age to Miles & Gwen rather than Peter. Images attached as a brief example, though panels inside recent issues also seem to follow this trend
