Costume for senior woman who doesn't dress up?
My brother and my future SIL are having a halloween party wedding and costumes are strongly encouraged. I'm all for it and my kids are stoked! Wedding theme is mystical/magical vibes, fae/dragon/elves/fae wilds, etc, but costumes don't necessarily *have* to be "on theme".
My grandma, an 84 year old woman, doesn't dress up but doesn't want to feel like the odd one out. She's the kind of person who doesn't even wear jeans out of the house, she wears dressy pants and blouses or dresses. Can't restrict mobility since she's recently started needing a walker occasionally.
Ideas?

Best way to get "blood stains" on polyester twill shirt?
Hello! I am going to be cosplaying Faust from Guilty Gear, and part of the cosplay is a blood stained nurse shirt. I bought a polyester twill nurse shirt, but wanted to make sure I am approaching this in the right way before ruining the shirt?
Here's a picture of the character:
Thank you :)
Love it when period dramas go bold with color instead of muted “vintage”
The orange dress with the green stockings that Jessie Buckley wore in The Bride! is living rent free in my head. Something about that clash of colors in 1930s Chicago just works for me.
dwarf/medieval costume tips
Hi everyone! I'm attending a renfaire themed party my friend is hosting, and i also plan to reuse the same costume at an actual renfaire. For the party, my character is a dwarf, and I'd really appreciate any advice on how to make my current costume options fit the aesthetic better, both in the way of dwarves and more medieval in general. the one with a blue top is what i wore to a previous renfaire (not fully accessorized, and the second is a pirate outift i wore to a theme night at dance). thank you!!
edit: a fake beard would be hilarious, but would unfortunately impede my already struggling lungs :(
1976 jungle book mowgli loincloth how to make one in real life?
Admittedly, I'm just curious. How could one make what Mowgli wore in that movie?
i’m looking for creative careers to possibly work in and I have an interest in costume design. I have a creative freelance background in graphic design, traditional art, painting, nail art, and skills in 3D modeling, sewing etc but never went to school for it. Advice on how I could enter the industry? Im not opposed to going to getting formal education either.
