Anyone else going to see THAT wicker movie for the costume?

Is who created it. I wish I could find a detailed article about the process. But yes, I'm going just to see the costume but I have a feeling I'm going to like the film as well.

The costumes in war and peace (2016) are so bad

I still sort of like this adaptation mainly for James Norton as Andrei but the costumes look so cheap and over the place my god. There's some hit or misses with them for example the dress Natasha wears at the opera but overall I feel like they're completely unhistorical and bad.

Sub will become stricter moving forward

Posting my response from a thread.

Not going to be an alternate parent to anyone in the sub. If someone wants this much help, they can ask nicely. There has been a long standard pattern of your example of "kthxbi", no reference images for obscure characterizations, no description of skill level/steps taken, and far too much fetish/kink posting for karma farming.

You're going to find that as a mod, I expect everyone to be an adult and not expect the sub members to do all the work for them.

I'm in the process of updating the sub drastically. It is going to become much stricter, similar to the sewing sub. The people who do contribute answers have hard earned knowledge and I'm really cracking down on all low effort posts. It's really the only way to combat bot posting of all kinds.

I understand this decision may not sit well with some people and I'm okay with that.

Feel free to discuss. Telling me to fuck off suggests you might be a better fit elsewhere.

Any tips or tricks? It's my dominant hand, of course. I have just been diagnosed with moderate to severe in my shoulder, wrist and hand.

Can I convert back clasp to the front?

My arm is injured and I can't get a back clasp bra on. I would like to convert a couple to front clasp.

I have hardware from older worn out bras and am an advanced seamstress, sewing won't be an issue.

Are there any tips or advice you would give so I don't screw up the actual physics of the support?

Please read: Cleaning house and redesign

Hi Everyone

The other mods have been inactive for months so I cleaned house. Yes, I will be looking for 2 mods to join and will post a form soon.

Before that, I want to redesign the sub, add some sticky topics, and make this a place for more users to enjoy.

SO I'M TAKING SUGGESTIONS.

Really.

Let me know what you want to see, how you want to engage, what enrages you, etc.

If another sub has things you like, point me in their direction.

A little about me: I've been a reddit user since 2009, this is my second avatar, I changed it when I started narrating. I was a theater and opera designer for over 20 years, I still sew quite a bit and do some prop crafting when the mood hits.

Currently I work full time in live streaming-the company I co founded is older than YouTube by 1 year, and we do almost exclusively sports broadcast including for ESPN and on rare occasions CBS.

Yes I narrated audio books as a side hustle from 2017-2024, then AI started to make inroads and I bailed. I also was in website development during the dot com boom and am currently building a streaming platform on AWS as an in house project. Yes, I get bored easily and am a bit of a polymath.

Anyway, that's me. I love historic novels, period films, opera and damn near every kind of music out there. I play the piano barely and may be slightly addicted to the game Brotato.

So that's me. I'm audible_narrator and thanks for reading through all this.

Main mod has been MIA for months

Main mod in a sub put out a call for extra help. Selected me, then pretty much dipped. Im the only mod doing anything. So my question is can I take over the sub? Then I could get active members to help.

No longer allowing crossposting

Due to the large number of low effort crossposts, I have turned this off.

Many requests for help do not include images, which makes it difficult for users to comment.

In the future please make more of an effort to help us help you.

A lot of posts in the queue

Hi all

There are a TON of posts in the queue. Reddit AI blocked a lot of requests for help.

I'm going to slowly start releasing them. They are mostly requests for help with Halloween costumes.

Archer: Dreamland

This animated series did a one off season dedicated to noir. Fans of the show hate it, as a fan of noir, its one of my faves.

Any thoughts?
