The connectors broken so the battery is disconnecting during the ride. Rode around with tape keeping the connection secure for a while and now that doesn't work either. It bust.

The bike stores in Amsterdam that do cowboys are seemingly backed up for weeks and most say they dont service the 3 anymore.

Is this common? Do they even make the part anymore? Is it worth figuring out how to get the part and fix it or call it a day so you think?

I have a Cowboy Classic and I'm looking to upgrade the original Sunrace brakes to Tektro brakes as I find sunrace way too „sensitive„..

Does anyone know a mechanic, mobile bike technician, or company in France that can do this upgrade? Ideally, I'd prefer someone who can come to my home, as the brakes currently don't work at all and I don't feel comfortable riding the bike to a workshop.

For those who have had this conversion done, what would be a reasonable price for this job be?

needed are :

- Tektro brake parts

- Labor/installation

- Brake bleeding

- Any additional hoses, fittings, or adapters if needed?

I'd also appreciate hearing about your experience with the upgrade and whether it was worth it.

Hi everyone,
I’ve always wanted a Cowboy e-bike, and I might finally have the chance to get one. It’s a Cowboy C3 with only about 500 km (310 miles) on it, and the seller is asking €400.
The catch is that the battery doesn’t work anymore because the bike has been sitting unused for a long time. According to the seller, everything else is in great condition.
I’m wondering if this is still a good deal. Has anyone here had experience reviving or repairing a Cowboy battery after long-term storage? Is it usually repairable, or would I most likely need to buy a new battery?
Would you take the risk at this price, or should I pass?

I contacted Cowboy for the umpteenth time, about my replacement frame. I was told at the time this whole problem reared its ugly head that I should under no circumstances ride my bike again. Ever. So here I am without a bike for coming up to two years, they tell me that the frames are being replaced in phases based on the mileage ridden.

I told them that I understood that,but how can I get up the required mileage when you have requested that I never ride my bike? They replied that they are aware that there is no logic to their position (!) but it remains their position so that’s it. They will not contact me again until I get up the required usage - which I never can…

Has Cowboy given any indication they ever plan to reopen sales to the US or is it just a lost cause at this point?

I’ve been wanting to pick up an e-bike and love the aesthetic, features of the Cowboy and have not really found anything close to it that can be picked up in the states.

Have a C3 for a few years now and have had the battery filler put in twice, the battery had to be replaced once, and now my bike is turning off every few hundred meters. Cowboy without even seeing the bike or running diagnostics, is trying to just sell me a new battery for over 500€. Any one can help me? Im in Berlin Neukölln.

Is the Untamed app still compatible with the latest Cowboy update? And is anyone still running it without issues?

I know about the motor cutting out after a full stop when too much force is applied. What I really want to know is how you all use it day to day. Do you flash the values onto the board, or do you just run it in test mode to be safe?

Any experiences would be a big help. Thanks!
