Free Broken chargers

Hi,

I have a few broken chargers available for free in Amsterdam

Let me know if anyones interested in taking them to repair.

I’ve opened 3 up, checked the fuse which is OK. They all show no 5v on the logic part, no idea why and no time to figure it out.

DM me if you’re interested.

Kunnen deze banden nog even mee?

VW UP 2015

N channel logic part selection

Hi,
I’m repairing PCBs and running into an issue

There is a specific SOT23 n channel mosfet which fails quite often or often shows sign of wear (increased current into gate to source)

I want to replace this part

OEM: 2N7002 (Vth = 1-2.5v) SOT23. Pulling a 3.0v drain signal to ground (s) with a 3.0v on gate.

I replaced this part with a (Onsemi) BSS-138 (vth = 0.8-1.5v)
However this new part also still sometimes fails prematurely, this time not showing “wear” but just failing.

Can someone more versed in EE help me out why this is happening? Should I just move back to the 2N7002? The current is negligible with high R on D & G

Hog and noise when moving from standstill

My XSR 700 2016, 25k km - has a weird ‘hog’ somewhere in the transmission when moving from standstill occasionally. It’s been there for a while and hasn’t gotten worse.

It’s really annoying to make a video of because it doesn’t happen every time and less when the machine is hot.

When I release the clutch, it’s like the clutch plates are on active ABS (on off on off) and a more high pitched sound is there. For only 2-3 meters, then everything is normal. I believe it happens more when also rolled back slightly during standstill.

The engine itself does not hog, it’s really somewhere between clutch and rear wheel.
Already replaced the chain and sprockets as I expected it was this, it’s still there. Last service at ~20k, replaced chain, sprockets, tires, brake pads somewhere 23k.

Any recommendations? I’m not an aggressive rider and really don’t expect the clutch to be worn with all my highway miles but im open to replace it.

Looking for 2 worn out front sprockets to be used as donor. Preferably in the EU

Anyone that has one or two left I could buy ?

New is quite expensive and I only need them as donor.
