They are stretching the term “bad faith”

I actually watched the video they are mentioning in OP (though only 3 hours in so far) and all I can say is that it’s not bad faith. The majority of it is pointing out plot holes and poor writing choices from someone who loved the first season.

Not only did OP not watch the video (see image 2) but they decided that it was so bad that they needed it to be posted as “bad faith” because it was long.

im seeing a pattern that slowly every person who criticizes vivziepop’s writing is consided bad faith by the fandom. it’s just annoying. I thought the sub was CAHH not just Hazbin haters

Don't know if this belongs here but it's incredibly ironic that the hellaverse fans are getting really mad over this man's edit for "fetishizing lesbians" while Helluva Boss heavily fetishizes gay men

There are also a few female artists I can name off the top of my head that constantly draw gay pornography of Stolas, Blitzø, Lucifer, and Adam and AFAIK these artists haven't caused controversy over this.

Do any of you feel like the dialogue is more of what you say in your head and less what you actually say?

What I mean by that is, if someone you hate asks you to do something but you can’t, in your head you’re kinda like “fuck you, and fuck that” but instead you say “nahh I can’t” do you think HH and HB sound more like the first thing that you say in your head? Sorry if this is complicated

Do you think what hate community is worse, AHH or the Anti-Furries?

In my opinion, both communities are shit and hot crap, AHH they think they're chads or sigmas by harassing fans, making hateful posts, giving zero arguments and just spouting nonsense about why they hate the series, Besides, it's full of users with racist, intolerant, homophobic, transphobic, etc. views. The moderators of that sub are literally neo-Nazis And one of them is openly transphobic; users have drawn gory art of them killing Hellaverse characters, to the point that they drew gory art of the Loona actress being murdered, besides, those idiots think they're part of an army or something and want to eliminate all the fans as if one of them killed their mother or something, Anti-furries are the same; they think they're Gigachad or Sigma because they hate furries 24/7. They think they're part of the military and make unfunny memes and edits of themselves killing furries, Both the anti-furry and AHH groups are made up of kids no older than 12. There was an occasion when an anti-furry user sent gore to a girl who was a Gachatuber and also a furry (that's really going too far), just like AHH, anti-furries lack their own judgment and think they're going to exterminate furries or something like that, and they believe they're superior for hating minorities and idolizing wars (those idiots need to read "All Quiet on the Western Front" to realize that war is not is cool, and read history to stop idolizing horrible dictators like Stalin or Mao Zedong), In short, both communities are a mess, and you can hate Hazbin Hotel or furries, but basing your entire personality on it isn't cool; it makes you look like a loser who's never touch grass in a long time, and what do you all think?

Question: Why do Hellaverse ferociously defend Vivzepop whenever she gets into a rightfully deserved controversy?

It's almost cult like mentality, and it's always whenever it's a controversy that either questions her ethics, and/or has a lot evidence for being true. They are seemingly so severely blue pilled that they automatically think any controversy involving Viv is false. Let me know your guy's opinions/thoughts.

What are the aspects of the show that you'll agree are NOT bad, no matter what anyone says?

For me: Music and animation

While music has some songs that i listened to once and never again, like Speedrun to Redemption, i felt like that one was rushed, there are some absolute fucking bangers that go into my Spotify playlist, such as Gravity, Brighter or even Abel's solo in the final song. Patrick Stump killed it

And animation. The animation here, while suffering from constant red, is beautiful and amazing, considering what complex designs they have to work with, like Speaker of God

Really making a strange question here, but what is your FAVOURITE part of the show?

Personally I would have to go the Vees introduction. I personally thought that on a rewatch of season one that episode one was being really weak about introducing everyone and everything, and I assumed that the Vees would be much of the same, but actually no! They let you figure out things for yourself, their characters shine through and it tells you everything that you need to know about them in an actually interesting way.

So what are your guys favourite part?

Found this when I just opened up Twitter.

Just because something is deemed popular and "Well received" by others, doesn't mean it's automatically good. When are people going to understand that even popular things can be hated sometimes. For example, look at Teen Titans Go. When that show came out, it was widely known for how inferior it was over the original Teen Titans. People were outraged on social media, hate videos were being surfaced on YouTube, and in most of them, the creators tend to place TTG as with number one or in the top 5 for the worst cartoons of all time. Well I think those videos haven't aged well because this show makes Teen Titans Go look like fucking mozart in comparison!

How would you rewrite the Hellaverse?

(This is my first time posting here, so please let me know if this fits or not!)

So, for this scenario, let's say something happens that causes Vivziepop to hand over complete & utter creative control of both Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss's writing to you as long as you keep the core ideas, meaning you can fix any flaw you see with the plot, lore, or whatever else you may take issue with, as long as you don't erase the idea of a hotel to rehabilitate sinners or a hellborn run business to assassinate the living. How drastically would you alter either series, & how would you do it?

How have we gotten to a point where Joker is apparently comparable to Valentino

Like recently on r/vivziepopmemes I came across this post and tried to argue why the two aren't even comparable.

They've brought up that Joker is also a rapist "in the comics", but saying that he flat out raped someone is pretty extreme because he's not being shown or having been said to rape someone (that I could find, anyway).

and even then, Joker isn't (usually) written like shit like Valentino is, in fact Joker has his fans for a reason while Valentino is hated.

And even if Joker WAS a rapist, I'd be willing to bet it'd be handled far better than Val ever could be. And all could find was something about him stripping barb naked and taking photos after shooting her, and even then that's not how rape works, if anything that's JUST sexual assault, which is still not good, but I don't hear anyone bitching about it like Valentino.

Also, they want to talk about Batman's storyboard artists be "we don't know who they are as people", but that's a pretty bad fucking defense imo.

Also, they addressed the tone-deafness of the pride month merch as "establishing continuity".

I just have a big, BIG list of reasons why they're not comparable.

None of this happened but report it if it does

Literally all of this is stuff which if done would get automatically blocked by Reddit, because I am a mod on the sub and this is how Reddit works.

And I would like to assert something very clearly that I have asserted before, and that is that we are not a hate subreddit. We are a critique and discussion subreddit about Hazbin/Helluva that also works to document when people refuse criticism of the show for unfair reasons or harass critics. (Please view the pinned post "What does the Crazy in our name mean" for more information)

Please do report anything like in this comment as I would remove and likely ban any user that says anything along those lines. But as far as I know this has not happened in any capacity.

Thank you!

The reason why Scott Cawthon isn't as hated as Vivziepop is because Scott Cawthon isn't feeding his trolls and doesn't have a huge ego about being hated for reasons outside of his control.

He also has barely any online presence and is probably unaware whenever people talk shit about him.

I am considering a rework of the sub (READ DESCRIPTION)

As it stands, we are a subreddit that is mostly based around documenting CAHH when they suck, but in reality that was only part of the subs original purpose. When we were very small, only a 100 members, this sub was very focused around discussion of the hellaverse as a show, posts about what people didn’t like, posts about what people did like, and I’m starting to miss that a little.

Recently I was on holiday for two weeks and so of course moderation took a big dip, and I’ve just started to feel like the sub is too negative constantly now. We had a post of someone literally being misogynistic that I didn’t see, but fortunately it got taken down by the user due to your guys backlash (thank you guys!), also a rise in users that I would consider haters due to their shitty repetitive and generally weird arguments that make little sense.

But yeah, I want to try and rework the sub to make it more positive or at least have different aspects of it than just complaining all the time. This would probably be encouraging discussion posts more, removing posts that have nothing to say, and removing more arguments which are not given a factual backing and come across as mindless hate.

Genuienly, thoughts on this post?

I freaking LOVE Five Nights at Freddy's, but Scott Cawthon (that's the dude on the left, for those who don't know), is not a great writer. His writing in the games has gotten better thanks to the new Secrets of the Mimic, but he still has a long way to go, and the less I say about the FNAF 2 movie (much as I unironically enjoy it), the better.

Say what you will about Viv, but at least she has structure, plans, and characterization since near the beginning.
