May add some grime, but that's a wrap.

It was a pain to get them done, still 2 to go ! I didn't realise I painted their pouches orange (colourblind), so lets just say they're made out of Squig hide ! My phone pushes the contrasts a bit too much, IRL the tabards are smoother.

Finally decided to make a crimson fist on SM2

My first painted Crimson Fists model, now 30 more models to go to finish my Incursion list lol

Im a black templar player, but its a customized chaper anyway, decided its a chapter made from the best imperial fist chapters combined and i cant think of a better reprisentitive for the crimson fists as one carrying an exausted mother.

I collected Crimson Fists as my first Marines back in 2018. After COVID, I decided to sell my 2/3k points collection to make way for other projects, and pretty much regretted it since.

After hyping up the chapter to a friend who's on the edge of the hobby, I realised that my painting skills had come a long way since then, so ordered a model to test.

I legit forgot how fun and relatively easy it is to paint and model these guys. I've tried Carcharodons, I've done Admech for a bit, I've been collecting Alpha Legion. All are fun in their own right, but the models don't work for me, or the paint job is so awkward and precise I never actually get any painting done. What started as a one off model to scratch the itch has reminded me why I picked these guys when I started 40k along with Guard.

Already got more lads on the way. Wish the basing came out better in these photos, but it's done in an ashy/Armageddon wastes kinda style. Also wish I'd been a bit slicker with my unit marking transfer, it's a little wrinkled. Will try and include some of my old CF models if I can find the photos.

So, im finally stepping up my painting game. I spent 3 days doing this. The main things I want some criticism one are,

1. The free hand chest shield

2. The dry brush work

3. The layering (first time doing it)

4. The rope on the chest (is it at least half way decent?)

Since this is my 4th or 5th pedro, I want this one to be the best I have until we hopefully get a new model. Much appreciated for the feedback!

Paint scheme for what the Title says the Chapter Marking would be the Templar Cross in white. They’d have the same rules about the crimsons fists as their original chapter. They’d name would either be “The unbroken Fists” or “Knights of Dorn”

Any inputs about the scheme? I want to spice it up some more but I’m not quite sure about the black knees…

Brothers! My current sea of grey that I have assembled (being held together by blu tac mainly 😂), almost ready for priming.

I thought they were ready, until I noted that I hadn't drilled out the gun barrel holes yet 🥲👍🏻

I have been wondering for a while, because everyone's saying the mother and daughter thing, but I want to know how strong he is compared to other chapter masters. I have some feats here I remember, but in Rynns World there are so much statements that I don't know what they mean in terms of powerscaling.

1. He defeated Snagrod, from my point of view he humiliated him by breaking his jaw with his bare fist.

2. He basically almost oneshoted a warboss striking him with his power fist.Cortez ended up killing the warboss by making him eat a grenade. That's probably the power fist, but I have no fucking feats to put.

3. He is stated to be one of the most powerful warriors the chapter has ever had, and that is the reason he is the chapter master. I don't have a comparative of other crimson fists characters, except Polux, which i'm going for him now

4. It is stated (by Cortez) he is Polux incarnate, and I don't know what the fuck that means, I don't know even if It means anything.

I'm obviusly missing something, I haven't read traitors gorge so I know that I'm missing some information. That's why I require your assistance, brothers.

This one was an uphill battle but I think it turned out ok!

Nearing the end of finishing the Armageddon Captain. I’m not usually a fan of the primaris helmet, but this more Roman style one looks cool.

Very early stages, mixed all the blues from Pthalo blue red tone and ivory and some inks, trying to do more mixing then just picking a paint for everything

So I know these are my little plastic men and I can paint them how I want and I know the crimson fists are severely understaffed, so veterans are covering all roles, but I’m weird about how I paint my minis and like to be as lore accurate as possible, so would the scout sergeants have one red fist or two? Or would they still have no red fists at all? I’m kind of assuming it depends on the sergeant and if he’s just training. Any ideas are appreciated.

This is now my 4th or 5th mini I’ve painted. Have to say it’s been slow going but I’ve really enjoyed the Crimson fists.

A lot more at than painting imperial fists. Yellow was fine. But so unforgiving. You make a mistake doing say doing the black trim and it’s pretty much strip in iso alcohol and redo.

Conversely, I’ve found crimson fists are challenging for a new painter, but if you take your time you really can do well. Or well enough to be table top good enough.

Finished up a squad of Bladeguard! Reiver squad coming up next, slowly working my way to 1500 points!
