It would be great to get a stl for the entire shoulder pads but those seem to all been taken down, also my heavy intercessors ar already build with their existing shoulder pads glued on so the best I can do is try to find the "hard transfers" of the logo to place on them

Armored Infantry Detachment gives all your officers the ability to make SQUADRON orders .

Abhuman Details allows Commisars to order Bullgryn Ratlings but it also says it allows them to use the Take Aim order , not specifically on abhumans it just gives Commisars the Take Aim order .

So in Armored Infantry + Abhuman, Commisars can order squadron and can use take aim.

People are putting Castellans into Chimeras and ordering tanks with them instead of using a Lord Solar Command blob or expensive Tank Commanders, but if you happen to use Abhuman detail and you load your armored infantry vehicles with 3 Bullgrys/Ogryns and a Loose (or attached) commissar you can order all the abhumans and all the vehicles for even cheaper.

Is that correct and viable?

Aircraft models can do it though Warhammer rules commentary purely to allow the models to be playable in the game, especially harridan and the big tau aircraft , big wing models also can overhang for the same reason, otherwise Magnus has trouble even deploying anywhere behind a building.

The argument comes up when Harridan is suddenly no longer an aircraft and now cannot deploy in half the deployment zones and sure as hell cant ingress. I wouldn't be able to place a Valkyrie anywhere in any deployment without exposing it to fire because ill be touching buildings. and I could never ingress it either since it would be a wider footprint than a bane blade .

I think when they said in the commentary that Aircraft "models" are allowed to overhang the table they meant irrespective of the hover rule . Losing the aircraft keyword shouldn't be read as RAW when it comes to a this playability issue of the models themselves.

In 11th , a the Valkyrie "should" end up being a non -aircraft flyer with 14" move. But I REALLY think we should be allowed to overhang the board edge as long as the base stays in.

Still a bad unit, still not worth the points

BUT.....

Now... the benefit of cover it grants (-1 BS) better synergizes with the 4+ invuln it grants also.
