Firstly, I would like to thank the community for the actions taken earlier with that user who posted abominable intelligence. Thank you for enforcing the rules in the mods absence. Dark Krakens will not tolerate the unnecessary use of water to power such an abomination, like the Emperor himself sending Valdor to execute the scum that drained the last of earths oceans. We got the results back for the first week of the siege of death Mire campaign, of course it’s an imperials victory. Let’s keep it rolling for week two so we can get some more new model reveals, for I am looking forward to seeing the rumored captain on a bike.

The Black Vipers are an Ultima Founding chapter created after the events of the 13th Black crusade and the Great rift. As an Ultima Chapter they are completely made of Primaris marines

After their creation, the Salamanders “Accidentally” found out the chapter is made from Salamander gene seed and are Sons of Vulkan. Just like most of their Ultima Founding successors they sent a chaplain, this one was named Sur K’gosi. To teach the chapter the “Promethian Creed” the Salamanders religion, tradition, and beliefs. Unlike the other chaplains though, K’gosi disappeared without a trace and has not been heard of since.

It’s theorized and speculated by fans that the chaplain was either killed or captured by the Vipers. This is backed up with the Black Vipers secretive nature. They choose not to claim a home world and would prefer to be fleet based, they do not like to work with anyone, and if they are ever seen on a battlefield they do the objective and disappear without a trace. Something that has been noticed though, is that Arch Magos Belisarius Cawls disciples, and agents are always near the Vipers.

This has created even more speculation that potentially they are a Space marine chapter that is directly under Cawls control, possibly his personal army. This is backed up by the heraldry of the chapter, the black and red, which is a color often worn by the Mechanicus

It’s been some years since the chapter has gotten lore. The only change or addition has been the chapter symbol, which in the 9th edition book it was the face of a viper, but then changed to that of a symbol that looks very similar to the iron snakes. Now that it is 11th edition we will see if that’s symbol stays and if the vipers will potentially get some new lore

If you’ve seen the Death Guard and Night Lord champion skins in PvP you should know that Focus is capable of adding bones and bone claw aesthetics to armor, even the Carcharodons pauldron is full of bone. There’s tons of official images and lore that they can get inspired by for the cosmetic pack. Dragons can have 1 to 3 or more horns and their claws can vary in style as well

People have always wanted lighting claws, what they could do is make a power fist with a black dragon bone claws coming from it, 2 birds 1 stone.

I’ve seen folks in this community in the past say that the Dragons are too niche to get a pack, welp we’re in a real niche era with the Exorcist pack coming and the leak of the Lamenters pack. So If anyone from Focus sees this, Bless the Curse 🙏🔥

I saw this incredible artwork on Instagram yesterday by eu_frosali_art and it fits the Dark Krakens so well. This is literally what I envision the people of Naktis looking like. Down to the purple glowing creatures, markings on the skin, the pale grayish fishy looking skin everything, him looking like he just came from hunting fresh from the water. Even the white hair looks like one of the marines from the Dark Krakens comic. One day when we get even more lore on the planet and official artwork. I hope it looks something close to this.

We all know the artwork of Daggan Zaidu on the cover of Oaths of Damnation, but theres another official modern Primaris Exorcist artwork that is found in the 9th/10th edition codex not many people know about and that’s this.

From the looks of it the Marine has a demon skull as a iron halo/trophy that would be awesome if they add that to the cosmetic

Starting this week, members contributions, whether that’s a finished painted model, artwork, story, any sort of creative contribution. Will be selected and added to the community highlights and will stay up for a week. The amount of contributions will vary week by week as more permanent things will be added to the community highlights. This is something I have done with other communities like Dark Krakens. 🎨: This upcoming Friday a surprise preview show was announced that’s is said to show off some of the upcoming things like the 11th Edition space marine codex, a new kill team box, new Warhammer40k models, Horus heresy and more.

New battles force boxes will be made available for preorder this week. It’s rumored that they will reveal the Space Marine battle force box at a later date. Ciaphas Cain model and the new MKIV models will be available as well.
