The Salamanders, Dark Krakens, Black Dragons and Storm Giants unite, and all fight together for the first time on an official capacity. On one of the most legendary battlefronts in all of 40K, Armageddon. Operation imperator will have tons of new lore and allegedly heraldry for these chapters. They will have these chapters fighting on multiple Warzone on the planet, they have been give special symbols that represent them being apart of this war, which will also be on the 11th edition models. Apart from the Dark Krakens all of these other chapters have fought in previous wars already. So I’ve created a new user flair in the Dragons, Giants and Krakens community that is “Veteran of Armageddon.” Armageddon has an ocean consider that Dark Kraken territory!

We are literally only a month away from the release of 11 Edition so in the meantime, save up for the models or the books and learn about these chapters and about Armageddon if you don’t know already.

🎨: Commissar Cain’s model was revealed, I personally don’t know too much about the character, but I know that he is one of the most famous Warhammer characters of all time.

📚: No new books revealed or released this week so far, but in the new white dwarf edition, there’s a lore on an old character known as the Doomrider fighting Orks, rumors that this character will be returning to lore and tabletop have been whispered

🎮: Warhammer Skulls, a gaming reveal show will take place on Thursday that will show either updates and future content for existing games or show new reveals for future games. More than likely the release date for patch 13 of Space Marine 2 will be revealed this Thursday. Looking forward to it.

I know the COF are with Vulkan He’Stan right now so they’re fine, he mentioned there are other chapters on the planet doing secret stuff. So my head canon is that the Black Vipers are there being anti social as usual. And then our poor boys the Dragonspears 🫩 the Ork Hunters deserved to be there

Just saw the pre-order releases for this week, saw this AOS character with what almost looks like the Dark Krakens 2nd chapter symbol lol good to know GW still has Krakens on there mind

This is a excerpt taken from “Bless the Curse” of a new grey shield marine seeing Dragon Claws for the first time. We know Captain Volos is one of the Biggest living marines but looks like a lot of other Black Dragons are massive as well.

Makes you think just how big will they be if they crossed the Rubicon.

I would like to start off with the legends rumors that’s been flying around, pun intended. Valrak originally started these rumors that he heard from the whispers, by stating certain Primaris vehicles and units would be going to legends on table top play. But with the reveal of the 11th edition box set you can still see them using and having images of of the ATV, and Suppressors helmets being on the Marines in the new Land speeder. All this is to say maybe some of these units will not be going to legends. We will have to wait and see in June.

🎨: This week’s preorders will be not as much as previous, Kill team Terror on Declan will be available. Along with the Murder wing kill team, though they are chaos models I’ve seen some people paint them as loyalist and it looks great. Would be perfect for our Black Dragon players.

Last week was a barrage of new reveals and information, from the reveals of all the models in the 11th edition box, to released dates and new lore. What are you looking forward to the most?

📚: Another Armageddon book was announced “Season of Fire” which is posed to be the launch book into 11th edition.

The Warhammer Community has Dropped a new article today going into small details of Operation Imperator. Including the Salamanders being thrilled to join the fight, I have a sneaky feeling the Covenant of Fire aren’t to far away.

As “World Ablaze” is released this week’s preorders looking forward to sharing new lore that will be available

🎮: The update on the upcoming patch 13 was jammed pack with so much information, including the major news the Salamanders will get a new champion, this means new drip for all the Successors as well. You see that correctly brothas and sisters. Armageddon has FALLEN. In the current timeline/setting and at this present moment, Armageddon has almost been completely taken over by Orks. When the events of 11th edition begin, including the new stories based on Armageddon in Novels like “World Ablaze” this will no longer be trying to defend Armageddon. This is now the Imperium trying to take back and re-conquer the Armageddon system. These events are unprecedented for this is like nothing we’ve ever seen before. The 3rd War had 24 Space Marine Chapters in the sector, this 4th War will we need at least twice as many. Steal your heart‘s brothers. The reconquest of Armageddon begins!!!

🎨: This upcoming Friday will be the reveal of the 11th edition box set after weeks of one model teases by GW. If you look closely at the teaser video, you can even catch a glimpse at the new Gravis unit and the new Librarian.

If any of you guys get your Return to Yarrick campaign book or World Ablaze early from the pre-order, make sure to please share any new salamander lore or anything groundbreaking in the community

📚: After the limited edition hardcover for “HIVE” was pulled back. This week the regular book for HIVE parts 1-2 by Dan Abnett will be available for pre-order this book. It’s me this book is mysterious and interesting, I’m excited to see what new world building/Warhammer universe lore will be placed in these books.

🎮: The Community Update for SM2 will be out this week. Expect it ether Wednesday or Thursday, it’s said to be jam packed with a 12 page article of what’s to come, along with a brand new Roadmap for Year 2. Expect update 13 in late May.
