Was there a reason why Alex was still in Dragon form this expansion while Noz and Kalec are humanoids?
And yes, how Reno functions would probably have to be changed for this Alex to get printed.

Is the tradeoff strong enough?

After some feedback on yesterday’s post about my custom Evoker class I came up with two possible reworks for it. Also included some images from the same post as a reminder of the most important mechanics of the class. Further feedback is still very much appreciated!!
I know, I'm SUPER excited, but we DO have to announce your Start of Turn winners first:
At last, it's here. The jubilee FIVE HUNDREDTH round of the Weekly Design Competition! What started here on this subreddit on June 8th 2014 has now gotten all the way over here, as a collective effort of many comprunners, but, most importantly, YOU designers keeping it afloat!
While round 500 itself won't be run TOO differently from other rounds, the real celebration will take the form of a large collaborative event that I hope to announce partway through this round, once all the preparation is in place.
Participation in the event is voluntary, but, to spare you all the need to sign up, all participants of rounds 498, 499, and 500 will be opted in. But don't worry, you'll learn in advance what the event actually will be, I'm not going to spring something at you right away.
So, before we get to the business of celebrations, we have one more round to hold. Did you know that the average length of the five hundred rounds (minus one) past was 8.75 days? Chalk it up to pauses, extra events to pause for, rounds that'd take biblically long, or just a bunch of those that were designed to last two weeks -- like this one!
That's right, this is another double round. One extra week to design, and two submissions per each designer!
Your prompt this week is to design something *NEW* for a class. Minion type, mechanic or keyword borrowed from other classes, or a whole new thing you've made up altogether, represented by a single class card. Said card should be a mono-class card, no funny dual or gang business!
The secondary prompt is best use of a custom Hearthcards emblem. (Can be an existing one, or your own.)
The tertiary prompt 😱 is to namedrop some of your favorite prompts across all of the Weekly Design Competition History. Just kidding, you won't be judged on that. But I'd love to hear your faves.
> Submit your card in the form of a comment on this post which includes a link to the image of your card. If you are submitting several pictures (e. g. a card and its tokens), please link all the images individually. Ideally, check that your links ends on a '.png' or a similar image format. Feel free to browse other entries and leave your feedback on them in the meantime!
The submission phase ends two Mondays from now (June 1st), ~21:00 CET (~3PM EST, ~3AM AWDT next day -- times are orientational and may vary with daylight savings and my laziness)
Given the recent talks about a new class at the end of the year I’ve been inspired to try my hand at an Evoker concept. Feedback is very much appreciated, I’m wondering if the core mechanic has potential for further expansion or if it feels too all over the place.
Hey everyone,
Continuing to share my custom Expansion: Hearthstone: Into the Mists.
This is something I've been working on for about 2 months, and I tried my best to capture the incredible atmosphere, lore, and characters of Pandaria in a way that feels true to Hearthstone.
I Have already been told that my Custom Monk Class Hero Power won't work, I have to rework it.
Today I bring you the Warlock Set.
For this set, I already got some comments about legendaries and the shapeshifting mechanic. I will be reworking it soon.
Please, any feedback is welcome. More classes coming soon.
Dalaran Heist for anyone who hasn't heard of it.
Note: Obviously, all of these would be broken / potentially unfun to play against in Duels (RIP), but they're specifically designed to spice up the meta of the 7-year-old singleplayer format that no one else is still playing except me. Dalaran Heist. For comparison's sake, all other passives can be found here. Personally, I don't think any of these are egregiously OP (except maybe Deceiver's Mask) but feel free to let me know if something seems out of whack.
