Atlanta Native Question

We live in Atlanta but am hoping to come and just people watch everyone in their costumes.

Can we sit in the lobby of one of the hotels to do that or do we need to buy a ticket?

Also for the vendors - is that open to all or do we need to have a ticket?

Happy to buy a one day pass if needed.

Interactive badge ribbon

This year will be the second time that I’m hosting a panel on Interactive Cosplay, and everyone who comes to the panel is welcome to pick up an interactive badge ribbon. There are eleven words hidden in this badge and they go forwards or backwards up/down/diagonally. Flu Shot Reminder

Just a friendly reminder to get those flu shots if you haven’t already. They take about two weeks to fully kick in.

This year it’s just a trivalent composition but hopefully it proves more effective than last year’s dose.

Events

I see that we now have access to the app with all the info on this year’s con! This is my first dragoncon so I was told that the app would have information on all events and panels, but compared to last year’s events I see that there are way less this year. Do they add them as we get closer to the con? Honestly I’m not very sure what the events are vs the panels so any information on these would be greatly appreciated 💗

Edit: okay now I see why everyone was making jokes of the current “events” 😂 thank you all for the replies! I can’t wait to see the real ones lol

Hey people working on your cosplays, you’re doing a great job!

As the time for con crunching is upon us, I just want everyone who’s struggling to get everything done to know they’re doing a great job and that you’re gonna look awesome. First Dragoncon

So this is my first Dragoncon and also my first convention with badge ribbons. How do I get them? Are they handed out to only certain people? Do I need to bring my own ribbons? Do I need to sacrifice a goat? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance
