Can you believe that this was her first ever drama? What a way to start.

Seo Su Min is 19 and is breaking into the actor business with a top tier drama, Agent Kim Reactivated. I wish I could
see her audition tapes. I was trying to remember where I had seen Seo Su Min. No wonder I had no memory on her. Remember this young actor, Seo Su Min.

201st Korean Drama Review: Marriage without Dating

I really enjoyed this drama, and it remains one of the series I would recommend, especially to beginners. It was fun, charming, and definitely gave me plenty of butterflies. I found it cute, but there were also some heartbreaking moments that made me even more invested in the story. It was such an entertaining watch that many scenes have stayed with me over the years, and I even ended up rewatching it. Being a tvN drama, it had a certain style and feel that made it stand out from many of the other dramas I had seen before. It is hard to believe that it aired back in 2014 because it has aged so well and still delivers exactly what it set out to portray. For me, this is a romantic comedy done right, and one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was because I genuinely rooted for the female lead until the very end.

Took a year to finish. Had to break it up. Your thoughts on the Korean drama ‘As You Stood By’.

Some do stand by and watch when it comes to reporting domestic violence. ‘As You Stood By’ was a very relevant and necessary drama for me to watch, but I had to watch in bits and pieces. Can you relate to the drama ‘As You Stood By’. Was the ending satisfying? Your thoughts.

Do you agree that these Korean dramas have largely retained the unique identity of Korean dramas, while many others have lost their individuality?

Favorite Kdramas with English dubbing?

I really like Kdramas and I watch them with subtitles all the time. But somedays I'm just so mentally exhausted after work that I just watch to relax and deco.press with a good kdrama, may scroll on my phone while listing. But I can't do that and read subtitles at the same time. Any suggestions for good kdramas with English audio? So far I've watched:

-squid game

-bon appetit your majesty

-alchemy of souls

138th Drama Review: Fated to Love You (2014)

Maybe because this was a remake, I found myself less invested in the story. I had already watched the Taiwanese version, so it was impossible not to compare the two. One of the things that made it difficult for me to fully enjoy the drama at first was Lee Gun's character, who felt very different from his counterpart in the original. Still, this drama managed to make me cry, and I have to give credit to the leads because they were excellent in their roles. Their performances carried a lot of the emotional moments. For me, this version felt more polished and neatly put together in terms of the events and storytelling. I think it is a good remake overall, though I could never completely get over my frustrations with the male lead's personality. My MDL Rating: 8.5/10
