Le projet de série collaborative sera porté par l'acteur japonais Sakaguchi Kentaro (What Comes after Love) et l'acteur coréen Lee Joon Gi (Arthdal Chronicles). Spearheading the next collaboration drama project will be Japanese Actor Sakaguchi Kentaro (What Comes after Love) and Korean Actor Lee Joon Gi (Arthdal Chronicles). Joining the International cast will be Taiwanese Actress and my favorite Ko Chia Yen (Had I Not Seen The Sun, Someday or One Day). Added to the cast will be Hong Kong Singer Dancer Actor Stanley Yau, Singaporean Actress Carrie Wong, Filipino Actor Joel Torre, and Thai Actress Narupornkamol Chaisang.

The Story—Simultaneously over seven countries, kidnappers successfully capture seven targets. Before a ransom is requested, the kidnappers ask the family members, "How far will you go to save your loved one?" In this game to cheat death, each family member is given a different set of rules to follow to win the release of their loved one. 
Kidnap Game will be released October 2026. 

The next Project for Esther Yu is Road to Success

In the latest Chinese drama for Esther Yu, she takes on another costar who is barely tested. She is paired with Chen Jing Ke, who will be Esther Yu’s love interest. Chen Jing Ke will play the Soccer Coach of a losing team. Some of the photos and teasers for the drama are looking quite good. Sizzling. Now most of us know what Esther Yu did with lesser known costar He Yu and the Chinese drama ‘Speed and Love’. He Yu came out of that drama as a major star.
 
I don’t know. Looks like Chen Jing Ke may get the advantage of the ‘Esther Effect’ too.

It will be a challenge for me to wait for this movie. Many have called the book life-changing. Hopefully, the movie will meet expectations. Adapted from the novel "One Year Left to Live, I Buy a Man"  (2021) by Yoshikawa Toriko.

The Story—Yui Katakura, a 40-year-old frugal office worker has done nothing but save all her money all her life. Her money would not go towards entertainment or romance. She would not self-indulge. Taking advantage of a free medical exam, because it is free, she learns that she has one year left to live. Not willing to take it with her, she decides to permit self-indulgence. Yui Katakura befriends a pink-haired Host at a Club. He asks for money. She offers to buy him. He accepts. What starts off as a lark turns into an emotionally endearing relationship.

Cast as Yui Katakura is veteran singer/actress Shibasaki Ko (Behind the Door). Cast as Pink-Haired Sena is Akaso Eiji (Gimbap and Origiri).

Glass Heart Musique, romance, drame

« Glass Heart » est une série japonaise musicale et romantique exaltante qui vous fera vibrer au rythme de la musique. La musique y occupe une place centrale, au point de faire partie intégrante du casting. Je donne généralement 15 minutes à une série asiatique pour me convaincre. « Glass Heart » n’a eu besoin que de 5 minutes. La photographie et la bande-son étaient exceptionnelles. J’avais monté le volume de ma télévision au maximum. Quand la musique peut vous faire pleurer… Les dialogues sont si bien écrits. L’histoire est formidable. Je l’ai regardée d’une traite.
 
L'acteur japonais Takeru Satoh, très apprécié des fans, a produit et joué dans ce drame japonais intitulé « Glass Heart ». Dans le rôle du génie musical Fujitani Naoki, l'acteur Takeru Satoh joue du piano, de la guitare basse et assure le chant. Cet acteur est-il Superman ? Je n'arrive pas à croire qu'une formation de seulement un an au chant et aux instruments ait permis de révéler un tel talent musical chez une seule personne. Je suis plus qu’impressionné. « Glass Heart » a le faste d’un anime, la sonorité d’un concert de J-Pop, le tout servi en 10 épisodes. « Glass Heart » obtient une note très élevée de ma part parmi toutes les séries asiatiques que je regarde. Qu'en pensez-vous ? 
 
C'est le deuxième « grand succès » consécutif pour Takeru Satoh, après Marry My Husband. Il ne peut pas se tromper cette année.  MDL 8,6/10, iMDb 8,1/10

The Ugly is a profound movie which says a lot about human nature. The Ugly is a simplistic complicated story. Just like a photo use to be developed from a negative, you have to see how the negative turns into a profound positive image in this movie. Only then is true light revealed. The Ugly actually is two movies running at the same time. The one you believe is the image that is captured for you. However, the truth of the story may only be revealed to you when you replay the movie and capture the other movie playing at the same time.

People say that something is deep. The Ugly is a deep movie.

The movie stars Park Jeong Min. I respect him as an actor. He seem to pick the “I don’t know about this one” type of script, as many said for the K-Drama Utopia. When you look at his choices, however, you see that his brain just operates faster than most people. Park Jeong Min sees it before we do. Park Jeong Min won the Baeksang Arts Award for Best Actor for the Movie Category for his work in The Ugly. Park Jeong Min plays a double role, that of the son in the future and the father in the past. Please put this movie on your list to view and be prepared to see it twice.
