I dunno how many people here were fans of Rogan or how familiar they were with him but to me the most concerning change isn't that he's become such a Republican, it's that he seems to be on the same trajectory as Howard Hughes. He's starting to lose it, saying stuff like he was abducted by aliens, he leaves his house less and less (apparently just doing commentary for the big UFC fights and the mother ship. He does his podcast from his house). In 10 years from now he's going to be sitting there naked like old Howard Hughes, probably watching the same stuff over and over again, but surrounded by ex Navy SEALS instead Mormons.

I'm not trying to tell TEG what to do, just kinda thinking out loud, but one thing I really hope gets emphasized in the next video essay is the amount of back tracking and distancing Rogan is starting to do since he realized Trump is a sinking ship. Rogan is shameless and has no honor. I have far more respect for the MAGA people that will sink with the ship than I do for Rogan. He's a weasel, just as bad as any weasel politician or businessman who goes whichever way the wind is blowing. Just hearing the ways Rogan is back tracking and trying to distance himself from Trump/MAGA is pathetic. And it's sad for me personally because the JRE used to be a really good podcast, I was a huge fan. But ya, we shouldn't let him squirm out of this. He should be a man and have some honor and suffer the consequences of selling out to Trump because he thought it would benefit him at the time.

What's the episode with the long Brett Hart intro? Can't seem to remember. Is it still available?

Also, is there a discord for this community? I think people who vibe with this content would be the kind of people I'd like to rot my brain out with blue light on discord while I'm at work pretending to work all day 40 hours/week.
