Tom Segura

Can anyone explain to me the only, yet very suspicious, line in the latest video about Tom Segura: “As for Tom, I don't even remember who the fuck that is. Sorry, I can't remember.”

This makes no sense to me. Especially all the shit that Segura has done since the last video, plus the weird divorce that just blew up and how he's treated his ex-wife during their podcast the last few years.

Looking for a Kenyan woman to appear in a documentary

I’m a Canadian documentary filmmaker coming to Kenya in December.
Our documentary follows Denis, a Canadian man who met a Kenyan woman online. Their relationship involves love, distance, money and financial support.
While in Kenya, we would like Denis to have a conversation with someone who understands Kenyan relationships and can ask him questions about his experience.
We are especially interested in people who have experience with long distance relationships, foreign partners, romance scams, or situations where financial support becomes part of a relationship.
There is no conclusion we want you to reach. We are interested in your genuine perspective.
Preferably someone in Kiambu, North Nairobi, or nearby.
If interested, please DM me.

rsv.repair: a free, in-browser tool that rebuilds corrupted Sony .rsv files into playable MP4s

Unreal. Get it while it still lasts. Started this year in April and this took ten minutes to repair a 47GB. Angels of the Sony format.

Broken Algo

Colonist the developers have clearly tuned the algorithm around maximizing engagement and profit. When playing 1 vs 1 he game gives you enough wins early on for the dopamine hit, then once you’ve won a few matches, suddenly the rolls stop landing where you placed no matter how statistically sound your setup was.

It also seems to reward reckless or outright bad play to artificially balance games and keep everyone playing longer. There’s a whole meta-game underneath the actual board game: once you start recognizing the patterns in the algorithm, you can actually manipulate it to your advantage. I’ve watched people do it over and over.

And every time players catch onto a strategy, the devs quietly adjust it. A year ago, if you stacked unstoppable wheat/sheep/ore setups across all six placements, you’d steamroll lobbies consistently. Now it feels like the system actively punishes that exact approach because too many people figured it out.
