XF 23mm f/2 owners: what am I not seeing?

I have a small three-prime collection:

Viltrox Air 35mm f/1.7
TTArtisan 56mm f/1.8
Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2

Ironically, the Fuji was the lens I was most excited to buy, but it's ended up being my least favourite.

The two cheaper lenses seem to have more character and a more unique rendering. By comparison, the XF 23mm f/2 often gives me images that feel a bit more like an upgraded smartphone photo. I've also been a little underwhelmed by the corner sharpness.

I'm curious if this is mainly the 23mm focal length, or if others have noticed something similar with this particular lens.

What has your experience been with the XF 23mm f/2? Is there something about its rendering that makes it a favourite for you, or did you have a similar impression?

Please help with XT-50 purchase

Hello guys, need a bit of suggestions for purchase of xt50 with xf16-50 mm lens

A month ago in fuji India's official website the xt50 with xf16-50 mm kit lens (silver) was priced at 165k with 5k discount at checkout which means it was available for 160k, but now it's out of stock and is showing 172k, a month ago i didn't had money & couldn't purchase, now I have the money but panicked looking at the increased price, went to a frw dealerships and they quoted the same price with an extra battery

Can anybody tell me, will it come back to the 160k price once it's back in stock ? Or I better purchase it now at dealerships ? It's my favourite camera, I was working hard to save money & now seeing the price hike makes me desperate for it, please give your suggestions & what you think ? Thanks in advance !

Which Fujifilm camera is best for travel and casual photography?

Hi everyone,
I am planning to buy a Fujifilm camera mainly for travelling. I am not a professional photographer, so I need something easy to use.

My requirements are:
Compact and easy to carry
Good photo colours without much editing
Good for travel, family and street photography
No major heating issues
Good battery life
Easy for a beginner to use

Which Fujifilm camera would you recommend?

Please also suggest a compact lens suitable for travelling.

XS20 + XF 70-300mm | Owls of Kanha National Park

Was a fun trip. Took nearly 800 shots in the 5 hour long safari through the Mukki zone in Kanha. This was my first wildlife attempt and needless to say I goofed up pretty bad but still walked away with some memorable shots. Battery stood its test and the heating was under control.
