Got the grit grips frame and it feels like it was made for my hands. I did lots of dry fire practice with it over the past week and took it to the range and I can confidently say this frame is worth every penny. Much better grip than oem+grip tape
Hey guys, I'm a first time gun owner. Just picked up a Glock 48 that I plan to carry concealed once I get my permit.
Obviously, when carrying concealed, you want to have a round in the chamber, but storing a gun at home with a round chambered isn't a great idea from what I understand. My question is, if I have a mag loaded to capacity loaded in the gun with an empty chamber, will that cause unnecessary wear on the magazine feed lips, or any of the other parts of the gun? Apologies if this is a dumb question, just trying to learn more.
Thanks in advance!
Yesterday my talking stage sent me this Snap. I know absolutely nothing about guns, so I’m genuinely wondering if this is a real gun. And if it isn’t… what the heck is it? 😭 I even asked ChatGPT, but it couldn’t figure it out either.
If it turns out to be a real gun, I don’t think I want to meet up with him anymore.
Hello friends.
I just bought some training bullets on Amazon for my 9mm pistols.
I would like to know if these bullets are not recommended to use. I wonder if it is possible that these bullets could create premature wear of other parts, or could cause some type of failure in the future.
Is it better to dry fire with 9mm, or is it better to use training bullets so that the firing pin suffers less when dry firing at home?
Or, on the contrary, will it create other wear problems by extracting the bullet over and over again?
Thanks in advance and sorry for my noob questions.
The bullets are these by the way:

I'm going to buy my first handgun and I quite disoriented. I am a beginner with little experience (I shot with Beretta 90two, S&W 460 XVR, Walther P99). I'm looking for the following requirements:
- 9mm
- soft shooting striker fired pistol
- home defense and shooting range
- no compact model
- very reliable
The S&W MP9 2.0 4.25" seems perfect, but in Italy is very expensive (1305 USD for the cheapest version in polymer) and, for some reasons, very difficult to find in the shops. I'm trying to see if there is a chance to order it, but I think I need to surrender to other choices. Many shops in Italy have a low selections of pistols and it's not easy to find all the models.
Now I'm considering the Glock G17 gen 6, the CZ p10 f and the Springfield Echelon. I held the CZ p09 Nocturne and I didn't feel it well in hand (I have medium hand), I don't know if with the P10 would be the same. I like the Glock in hand and I'll try it at the shooting range (where there are only few models to rent) and probably I won't be able to try the other guns. Everybody seem to say Glock is the worst option, so I really don't know what to do.
I'd like to have some suggestions.
Other question: for home defense I am thinking to use 83 grains cavitation bullets (expansion bullets are forbidden in Italy). Do you think I could experience problems with a such low grain?
Any deals for a handgun combo for the wife. Figured there would be one for July 4th sale
Happy 4th everyone. Since Ken Hackathorn's thoughts on red dot optics on pistols have been making the rounds again, I figured we'd do a fun one.
Modifications: GridLOK grips, gas pedal, barrel crown, flared mag well, Delta point pro optic (2 MOA), 5 in line ports, 12 lb recoil spring, performance bushing, CGW pro package with flat trigger and race hammer.
Overall I’m super pleased. I would def recommend. I own a few 2011s and I think this shoots better.
I know a lot of people like carrying Chinese stuff with American flag print on it to honor the US, but I figured I’d just carry a gun that I usually don’t because my daily carry is from Austria.
Mean Gene Leather wallet, Tactile Turn titanium bolt action pen, Surefire Stiletto Pro light, Leatherman Arc, Garmin Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar, Springfield TRP Operator full rail with a Surefire X300 Turbo, Tenicor Velo Lux holster, Wilson Combat 10rd mag with Federal HSTs
Bought my RXM from academy but it came like this, can you guys take a look if this is a faulty or damaged item?

My grandfather passed away and left his favorite handgun to my oldest brother.
We want to know a little about this sig sauer. I’ve heard some were made in west germany. He carried this every day for many years. It was his favorite handgun.
Does anyone know about this? Does anyone know where I could buy grips for this handgun?
Thanks in advanced!
