I am considering purchasing a new hookah, but as I reside in Istanbul, my options are somewhat limited. I have come across a hookah named Oduman Infinity, priced at €120. I was wondering if anyone has had experience with this particular model? If so, would you be able to recommend it for everyday use?

I’ve been testing the Xkah for a few sessions now. When everyone says you should lower the temperature from 305°C to 270°C after 10–15 minutes, I honestly can’t really relate to that. For me, the heat-up phase with preheat easily takes around 25 minutes before I get decent smoke. I can smoke for 90 minutes without ever even getting the feeling that the tobacco is getting too hot.

My suspicion is that my pod isn’t heating up enough. I already tried increasing some settings in the hidden menu, but it didn’t really make a difference.

Does anyone here have any tips for me?

Does this addition make sense or should I remove aluminium?

It looks like with Lotus, 2x25mm and Oblako, it heats up too much.

I like to smoke fruit flavors. Peach, tropical, orange.

However I have been getting an idea in my mind of something I’d like to try. I’m agnostic to brand, tobacco color, source.

Picture this: You are an ancient Egyptian. You and the boys just finished a day of stacking blocks. Now you are sitting under the stars by a fire sharing some food and some warm beer and a smoke.

It’s dark except for torchlight. Breezy. The only sound other than the wind and the crackle of cooking fires is the low buzz of UFO’s flying overhead dropping off the blocks for tomorrow’s job.

I want to smoke what they were smoking. I promise you, I’m not smoking anything funny. I’m not looking for an r/trees rec. I just want to know if there is some commercial shisha that might fit the bill.

I’m talking spices, frankincense. Ancient shit. Shit I can smoke in my hookah on my own back patio in the summer, and just chill out.

And yes I know ancient Egyptians didn’t have tobacco. It’s a vibe, not a science project.

I’m getting the urge to upgrade my setup and thought I’d get some thoughts from the experts!

I smoke 2 fresh bowls a day pretty much every day for the past 6 years (covid onwards). Pretty much exclusively smoke Tangiers cane mint, coconut coals, shishabucks cloud micro with the shishabucks bowl, and a hmd.

Before this I’d used a KM for years, with al fakher and other blond leafs etc. I bought another shisha for a short period “Dschinni Legend Alu Wood Hookah” and an Olla Bowl, but barely use it.

What could I do to elevate my smoking experience? Specifically smoking cane mint Tangiers, as I don’t really enjoy anything else (I’ve tried most brands available, except the Russian/german ones as they just seem to difficult to get).

Big issue with my setup is I’ll smoke for 45 mins and my 15/20g bowl will be finished, and I make a fresh bowl and coals, it can’t handle a second set of coals on the same bowl.

Happy to consider anything, since I spend 15 hours a week on this hobby weekly!

My local shop bought some Sebero tabacco and the Pineapple became my favorite. Even the cut of Sebero really suits me. But it's already out of stock

Do you know any tabacco, that have the most similar taste as Sebero?

tldr; trying to optimize getting most flavor out of blackburn. Looking for input from people familiar with this brand.

As a Nakhla peach enjoyer from the old days, I've been in search of a good peach flavor to replace it for many years now. Recently decided to give peach killer from blackburn a try. I never tried this brand before.

This flavor seems very promising. The scent of the tobacco out of the box was such a pleasant surprise, it's fucking amazing. It's definitely unique too. But whenever I smoke it, the flavor is very light and doesn't come through as strong as I'd like. Thoughts?

I tend to prefer denser packs and letting HMD touch tobacco when possible, but doesn't seem like a good idea with this tobacco. I only tried that once and it seemed heat sensitive. For now just sticking to cosmo + fluff ish pack, HMD not touching.

I want to experiment more with denser packs, but thought I'd ask around see how y'all like smoking blackburn. Cheers.
