What are your favourite games (it’s ok if they’re not on nintendo or DS) that you hold dear just as Hotel Dusk?

Hotel Dusk + Last Window are my favourite games of all time. Luckily I played them first and fell in love with them when I first got my DSi in 2010. I love literally everything about these games. It’s hard to find games with the same genre that are this mesmerising.

So I feel like a lot of you relate since this is a hoteldusk sub.

It would be interesting to know from your point of view what are your “other” special games (you can mention any game from any other console, and it doesn’t have to “strictly” be a visual novel type of game)

We’ve already established that we like Another Code, Professor Layton and Phoenix Weight.

Ghost trick, Edith finch, firewatch, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Disco Elysium were already suggested, among others in the comments.

I’d appreciate if you reread the post and comments because your fav games shouldn’t be limited to the DS. There’s Playstation, Microsoft, and other Nintendo consoles.

I've just discovered this sub and I immediately felt a strong obligation to draw this tysm for this community 🙏

I just downloaded hotel dusk a couple of days ago and I've been craving a community like this this game was my very first visual novel and it made my teenage life I'll be forever greatful for this community and all the resources you've provided I think I'm gonna draw all the rest of the cast as well

Help with chapter 4 Last Window

I’m playing Last Window on the Delta emulator for iphone and I’m stuck with the blow dust puzle on chapter 4. Is there any way to do it differently? It doesn’t seem to get my blow lol

How is "Again", really?

Given its poor reception, I figure there's probably a reason Nintendo didn't publish this one, but man, the trailer makes the game seem really cool. Surely it can't be that bad.
