Hey everyone,
I recently bought an iPhone 17 and noticed a weird UI glitch while toggling Always On Display in Settings → Display & Brightness.
The toggle appears to jump around or become displaced briefly. I'm not sure whether this is an iOS animation bug or a device issue.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I try any troubleshooting steps, or contact Apple Support while the phone is still new?

Does anyone know how to turn this off? It is far away from my thumb and doesn’t remember the last setting! The previous timer was spot on. 20 os versions to iterate on the perfect UX. then boom. Gone with a single update. This has made me doubt Apple more than most other weird design decisions the last four years!

他確實修改了某些部分，讓鍵盤比 iOS 18 更難用且更擁擠。我已多次投書表達意見，使用 iPhone 快要 12 年，這是我第一次對鍵盤感到厭惡，因為那是每天都會使用的功能。
Is iOS 27 coded by AI?
Honestly, this has to be one of the worst iOS updates I’ve experienced.
Sometimes the phone completely freezes while I’m in the middle of typing. The touchscreen suddenly stops responding to touch at all, and then I have to wait for it to come back. I’ve also had apps open randomly without me intentionally tapping them.
The whole phone just feels buggy and unreliable since updating to iOS 27.
Is anyone else experiencing the same issues? Or is it just me?

Apple recommends keeping the battery around 20–80%, so is there any actual benefit to fully draining a new iPhone and charging it to 100% the first time?
I’ve never been a person to hate an update and I’ve never got the idea of hating an update, but this update is infuriating…. Before my data and cell connectivity in my city was absolutely perfect… now it’s completely trash I literally never have data… not to mention my phone disconnects from wifi every time I exit a building and refuses to automatically connect when I return… ohh and I dislike how they changed the gestures to he to the Notification Center…..( I have an iPhone 16+)
Got my iPhone 17 just 3 months ago. Started at 100% battery health with 26.6, and now on 27.01 it’s already at 99%.
Also worse battery life. Battery drain is real.
I charge only to 85%, usually use it down to 20%, rarely go below that or charge to 100%. I also make sure it doesn’t get hot, don’t play games, and it’s mostly just normal usage.
99% in 3 months? 😭
I mean… wtf.
I use all the usual battery-saving tricks too—no background activity, no AOD, etc.
How’s everyone’s phone 3 weeks after the update (9 days from 27.0.1)? I have noticed that with my usual heavy use, I drain almost 20% in an hour. Granted my battery is already bad at 80% at 1276 cc, it just isn’t as bad as this before iOS 27. Any help with this?

I upgraded to iOS 27 a few weeks ago, and so far, I’ve been loving the improvements. While it’s not perfect, the new Siri has genuinely impressed me and has become a really useful part of my daily routine.
One thing I noticed, though, was that Siri was quite slow during the first week and a half. It also used a lot of battery and caused the phone to heat up. Over the past few days, however, those issues have completely disappeared, and it’s running much faster and smoother.
Have you experienced this too?
I have several email accounts that I access through the iPhone Mail app. Some are Gmail accounts and some are yahoo accounts. Today, I finally updated my 16 pro from IOS 26 to IOS 27.0.1. After the update, all was good and working normally. About an hour later, I opened the iPhone mail app and watched all the emails sitting in my three Yahoo mail accounts disappear in front of my eyes. My Gmail accounts are still showing the emails that were in there before the update. The yahoo emails are no longer on the yahoo server so I can’t “sync” the accounts. I probably didn’t need the emails on my phone anymore but it’s frustrating the crap out of me trying to figure out what happened. Anyone here have any ideas/thoughts/comments? I guess I know why I kept telling myself not to update just yet….
Updates two days ago and every since then my phone is slower and Apple Maps is very delayed while even pinpointing my exact location. The hell is going on nowadays
Ever since updating to iOS 27 I can’t access any websites, not even Google. Every website shows “Website Not Allowed” and asks me to add it to the allow list.
Is anyone else facing this issue after the update? Any idea how to fix it?
Anyone else facing sound issues, when you plug in your phone to charge its suppose to ding. Its not anymore since ios 27. I never touched my volume. Is it a bug in ios 27? My phone is older, its iphone se 3rd generation. I wonder if it has something to do with the new alerts match ringtone feature they added in ios 27. BUT STILL, I never touched that.
UPDATE: If you toggle off and on alerts and system sounds under settings>sounds and haptics it FIXES IT. This is the only workaround. Apple wasn't clear how those toggles work, if you should have them on or off in order for the phone and sounds to work. I also noticed some of my settings under phone and facetime app got reverted. Like for instance i had the banner notification off somehow it turned back on during the update 27.0. When I updated to ios 27.01 at first it looked like they fixed the ringtone issue but then the problem came back a few days later so I guess they didnt fix it
