Keep Downloaded

In iOS 26, if you chose to keep some documents downloaded in the Files app, there was no way to see where those files were.

If it’s a large file buried in a folder inside another folder inside another folder, there’s no easy way to find it again if you forget where you put it. Storage just shows that iCloud Drive / Files is taking up space on your iPhone, but it doesn’t show where the file is or provide an easy way to remove it. Right?

Is it still the same in iOS 27, or am I missing something? Is there now a way to find and remove files you’ve kept downloaded?

WHY IS THIS STILL A THING?

The Weird UI and splashscreen of apps when loading.
Wish there was a way to no longer have those.

What’s this?

This appeared after updating to iOS 27 beta 4. I've never saw this before, so I don't know at all, does anyone know anything?

Is it worth updating an iPhone 13 to iOS 27 Public Beta 2 (coming from iOS 26.5.2)?

Thinking about jumping in but I’m worried about performance/battery drain on an older device like the 13. Anyone here already running it on an iPhone 13 (or similar)? How’s daily usability, battery life, and bugs so far compared to 26.5.2? Worth it or should I wait for a later beta/stable release?

I updated even though I was nervous to do so!

Regular old iPhone 15. Public beta. Battery life and smoothness has been absolutely perfect. No overheating or anything of the sort. I was nervous to do so because I updated on my old SE gen 2 (first developer beta) and it bricked text messages. I’ve had no issues thus far and it’s much smoother, if you’re thinking about updating on an older device go ahead!

I had no stutters but I turned off reduce motion and reduce transparency and reduce white point anyway. That’s how I had it on 26.5.2 as well. Phone is much faster now!

I love iOS 27

My apps start faster, they crash less and it looks so much better with the even more transparent liquid glass. I love it

[iOS27 PB] Extra step for changing ratio. Pointless in my opinion.

I preferred the rotating between ration when tapping rather than an extra step.
