11 weeks old - are these spasms?

Baby is 11 weeks 1 day old. She did this more than twice before I started recording. Is this something to worry about?

What Can I expect?

My 5month old was just diagnosed with spasms. EEG done and blood work. Prescribed Prednisolone. We’re on her second day of medication but I’m just wanting to know what’s normal at this point. Should she still be having spasms?

Are these spasms

My baby has been doing this weird movement on the right side of her body only, I noticed it a few months ago and it’s still happening. She’s 4.5 months old. I looked up IS but it doesn’t seem to fit… it’s only on her right side WHEN she is lying on that side I.e during tummy time or when feeding her. Her head goes to the right and crunches in and her left leg crunches in as well. As soon as I move her out it doesn’t happen, sometimes its 1 or a few in a row or can be none for awhile if she is on her side. It doesn’t happen when she is sitting or on her back or on her left side. I’m trying to get into the doctor but wanted to see if anyone else’s baby has done this!

Infantile spasms

This is a video my husband got of my 11 month old who just got home from the hospital being diagnosed with IS. These occurred for a couple of minutes right after she woke up from a nap.

Could this be spasms?

My LO has been throwing his limbs and head like this more often recently. The first spasm is normally followed by crying and then he’ll keep repeating this movement for what feels like 10 mins.

Sometimes it seems like he’ll stop breathing too when it happens and will turn red which made me think it could also be reflux. He’ll also gasp like he did in the first clip.

These were all take in a 2 min video shortly after waking up from a nap. He had a total of 10-15 spasm like movements before it finally stopped.
