My 6 month old has been exhibiting so unusual movements that could be infantile spasms. Our pediatrician referred us to a pediatric neurologist who can’t get us in for an appointment until February!!! We’re trying another place that might be able to get us in sooner. But should we just go to the ER? What capabilities do we need to make sure the ER has? And is that info online or should I call about it?
I recently returned to work after 12 weeks maternity leave, and I feel so out of place. My work was given to other people, and I’ve been asked to generate all-new work rather than returning to the work I left. Some of my old work has been very successful recently but I’m not getting any credit even though I worked on it for months before my leave. Management keeps sending around congratulatory emails mentioning everyone on the team but me. Management is also disappointed that I don’t want to travel with my baby for a conference in two weeks. I feel like they aren’t happy with me and might be trying to push me out? Or at least they aren’t considering how bad they are making my return feel. I just want to get a new job to start fresh, but I know that would be really hard with a new baby. Anyone else come back to an uncomfortable work situation? What did you do?
Can anyone tell me what bug this is? I found quite a few on my orange tree is Southern AZ. Looks like they’ve been eating at the leaves. Any tips on treatment are also appreciated. TIA!
Baby is one month old. Because he was only sleeping in his bassinet for 30 min at a time, I’ve started trying cosleeping. The problem is that he seems to developed a strong dislike for sleeping on his back, whether in the bassinet or in my bed. I think it’s because of gassiness, but will be talking to pediatrician about it tomorrow. I really only feel comfortable cosleeping if I’m following the safe sleep 7 - but what do I do if baby won’t sleep on his back? Did anyone else overcome this problem? And was it because baby was gassy? I’ve tried mylicon drops but have been hesitant to use them every feed, though maybe that’s what I need to do.
