Help with shapeshifter deck

I love to idea of a dhapeshifter deck just unsure what to include. How many shapeshifters and how many pay offs for said shapeshifters? I'd love janky includes. Doesn't need to be high powered. Any help is appreciated!

(P.s. im thinking the ur dragon may be the best commander but im open to other suggestions)

Artifact control

Hey so I'm looking to create an esper control deck based on artifacts such as omen machine, weathered runestone, damping sphere, ect.

Pretty much anything that locks down the game and makes it unplayable or the very least difficult to play.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Win with your Wits every fourth game

Deck link

In today's exercise we fill a [[Whtz, the Bibliophile]] deck with lands, [[Persistent Petitioner]]s and [[Battle of Wits]]. And a couple of "combo" cards.

Turn by turn:

  1. Land
  2. Land + Persistent Petitioner
  3. Land + Whtz
  4. Land + 2x Persistent Petitioner
  5. Land + 2x Persistent Petitioner
  6. Land + 3x Persistent Petitioner
  7. Land + 2x Persistent Petitioner
  8. Land + Persistent Petitioner
  9. Land + Persistent Petitioner + [[Sevinne's Reclamation]] or [[Skyway Robber]]
  10. Land + use previous recursion to bring [[Rescue Skiff]], into Battle of Wits and finally [[Echo of Eons]] to shuffle
  11. Win

See tables for how the card counts go. Feel free to ask any questions!

Major improvements

Alright, so I posted the rough version of this deck a week or so ago and I’ve made a lot of changes (even changing the commander). I wanted to see what others thought and advice for improving, the deck is currently 40$ and is combo focused. It’s “technically” a bracket 4, but 100% doesn’t play like one so I think it’s a bracket 3 (6-7 in old commander power scaling). I’ve attached the link, please let me know what you think and deck building advice. I’m still very new to this.

Need help choosing a commander

Me and my pod have this challenge, we each randomly choose 2 non-land card from one color and build a deck around it. I go with green thinking I just get either a big stomping creature or a landfall one…I got Enduring Vitality and Burgeoning, so which commander can take advantage of these 2 cards the most? Also, the commander can have any other colors as long as it has green.

One Word, Progenitus

So I built this for fun and just as a personal deck building challenge, I understand the restriction is kind of major but was just seeing if I’m missing anything anyone can think of I’d love to stay on theme as much as I can (one word cards). Progenitus isn’t essential to the deck just a top end finisher if we get there, definitely not aiming for Cedh here just something fun to play but also cohesive.

Deck must be 85%+ Hobbit cards - which commander you choosing?

I'm running a free themed tournament this Sunday with that restriction and I'm curious what people would brew before I see what actually turns up.

Personally, I'm building Thranduil the elvenking.

If you want to actually play it: it's on cruciblecards.co.uk, free browser tabletop, I'm the dev. Sunday 3pm BST, winner gets two Hobbit boosters posted anywhere. But mostly I want to see the brews.

How's everyone's experience been with this bad boy? I've put together a deck and have been playing around with it and so far I've had pretty good success. Not including infinites, what are some fun combos that you all have discovered with him so far, and how did you guys build him?

I built him as a half and half brawler. Kinda Voltron, kinda doing treasure shenanigans.

Hey

So with the new Hobbit set being released I’m wanting to make a Rakdos (black and red mana combo color) deck that relies on dealing spell damage as well as making treasure tokens. I’m wanting the three Smaug’s be in the deck with Smaug, The Wicked Worm being the commander. I’ve never made a treasure commander deck and I have a few cards that synergizes really well with what I’m wanting to do but I’m wanting help with making a full deck. Should I go onto EDHREC and see what they have?

12 Labours commander deck

A few days ago I had an idea to build a commander deck based around the 12 labours of Heracles, I don't get to play as much as I'd like and I find putting together random decks satisfies my craving enough, and it's just fun to see an idea through to the end!

Anyway, I would love some card suggestions that fit this theme, either with card type/name or card art! Or if anyone can share any tools to search for cards by the art? I have a small list of creatures to include that line up to the labours but I'm at a loss for other spells.

I'm not that practised with building decks from an 'abstract' theme so I'd appreciate any pointers!

My current list:

[[Fleecemane Lion]]

[[Brimaz, King of Oreskos]]

[[Mistcutter Hydra]]

[[Spitting Hydra]]

[[Protean Hydra]]

[[Golden Hind]]

[[Burnished Hart]]

[[Nessian Boar]]

[[Silver Raven]]

[[Anvilwrought Raptor]]

[[Bow of Nylea]]

[[Warden of the Chained]]

[[Lightning Mare]]

[[Two-Headed Giant]]

[[Karametra's Acolyte]]

[[Underworld Cerberus]]

mono green lifegain

Hi, so I'm the one who recently posted the help and card advice for the mono green thing. I looked through Scryfall and made something. I'd appreciate it if you could look at it and help me out, as this is a funky combo of landfall and lifegain. My goal is to make it as fluent as possible now. I know this is going to be hard, but I'm willing to sink the time and money into it, as this is going to be my "turnbrain off win deck". It's not like ima gunna build this instantly, but over time, 'cause 3 months till set release anyhow.

Also, if this does sound interesting, lmk; I try to go for cool mechanics in the game and strange stuff ;)

Help

So I’m wanting to make a commander deck with my commander being Toph, the first metal bender. I know her abilities turn artifacts into lands and lands into creatures so she would be a very powerful landfall deck. What cards should I use that are cheap but good

Help With A Big Robot Tribal With Iron Man?

I want to build a deck around the Invincible Iron Man that's all about big Artifact Creatures, like [[Darksteel Colossus]] , cards that buff Artifact Creatures, like [[Cyberman Patrol]] , and cards that help get my Creatures out faster, like the Commander. I'm hoping to make this kind of deck without breaking the bank too much (at most $250 for the total deck cost) and would love some help!

Rules Question: About The Card Shadow of the Second Sun and it's Interaction With Sagas

The card Shadow of the second sun gives enchanted player a additional beginning phase. I wanted to know if that beginning phase effects sagas making them trigger twice each turn. Is there something im missing?
