What are some mega mon whose base form ability are still usefull?

both literally always usefull like mawile having intimidade on enter

or situatinally useful like lucario not mega evolving to proc steadfast

I dont want sheer force to be nerfed, not at all. As for now there arent any strong users that I can recall. But am I the only one that gets irritated by the fact that its clearly a coding oversight that they just decided to say "ah whatever" and keep it like it and officialize it for decades?

Why does showdown puts evs in sp def instead of hp when theres only 2 left? I ran calcs of damage multiple times for a mod Im planning and unless I did it wrong every time HP is better every time. Not only is it flexible, sp def doesnt scale better. If it was defense I would understand, but only if body press was in the moveset. for sp def no reason whatsoever tho...

Why is VGC reg F not a challengeable meta anymore? reg M-A is VERY incomplete. Reg I is impossible to play without restricteds. There is not any other challengeable complete VGC format in showdown anymore :(

Trump card is a terrible move but I wanna use it. All normal mons that learn it are physical oriented. All strategies I found so far revolve around using erie spell on my own poke, instruct, or tricking pressure to my opponent (which is the only one that works in singles) all suck.

for poke I tried dudunsparce, espeon and samuroth for damage dealers and oranguru, slowking galar, spiritomb, deoxys defense and dusknoir for support.

tomorrow Im gonna try mega khan on doubles even he has terrible spa cause 250 base power cant be ignored.

Before gen 9 meloetta couldnt have a set with stab for both of her forms in the correct damage category since for some ungodly reason relic song doesnt change damage category. But now with tera blast that is possible!

I know that is still a terrible way of running her, she probably runs better abusing serene grace (and not goot at that too) her for changing set is just bad and seem to have no thought put into it cause they just didn't give her any moves that make good use of serene grace at all, and tera blast is no exception.

I wish that formats names were a bit more self explanatory. Overall I got that the most popular are reg I and F with I being the equivalent to ubers and F to OU kinda, but is there a summarized way to expalain all the others?

Genuinely How is Attract not a good move in doubles? pair it with thunder wave and you have almost 70% chance to render your opponent imobile. on doubles there is a wider chance your opponent is opposite gender, I always use females since starters have wider chance of being males and they are the best example I can think of of male dominant species.

Obs: even in singles I had some sucess with attract by using 3 rivalry females to destroy the opponent's females that ignore my sexy female attractions 💅💋

I think there may be a bugged interaction between flame burst and beast boost. I used it with blacephalon killing 2 poke and it didnt proc.
