Looking for Unique Izzet Brews

One thing I am struggling with in deck building is making Izzet not spellslinger.

So, I wanted to ask everyone, what are some unique ways you've built Izzet colored EDH decks?

I have a [[Magnus the Red]] token deck. But in the end, it's really just a spellslinger deck that makes tokens.

Which color are you? (Based on Lore - video for reference)

Okay, everyone connects to the colors in one way or the other. No wrong way to do it, but based on the lore and philosophies of the colors, which do YOU connect to most, and why?

Me, I'm a blue guy through and through. I love learning, constantly trying to learn more. I try to perfect my techniques. Often fail, but try. And I have a robot the side of a building to destroy my enemies! :P

If you need a reference to what the colors believe, heres a video I did on it.

What is Mana in lore? Why do we play lands?

I've been trying to do the near impossible, and that's get concrete information on the cosmology of MTG. I started to help my friends understand the 30+ years of MTG history. It can be hard, but with various sources and your help vorthos community, I've slowly been trying. This time, it's with mana, how it works, and connecting it to the mechanics of the game.

TLDR what I've found so far: Mana has been around since the first rulebook in 1993. Mana is basically like atoms, makes up everything. We (Planeswalkers) draw that Mana from various sources like lands, artifacts, etc to reshape into physical things. Often, you use connections to lands you've visited, aka Mana bonds, to fuel your spellcasting.

Mana bonds can be increased (via land ramping) or destroyed/severed (land destruction).

You can use mana, often referred to as "Memory of the land."

Leylines play a huge role in the lore, although I speculate in the video their role in some of it. Could be wrong, or maybe not. You judge!

Then I talk about Phyrexian Mana and energy to share some times WOTC has moved from their mana system into more broken mechanics.

Anything I'm leaving out about mana and lands?

EDH Leyline deck help needed

Has anyone built around the Leyline cards, like [[leyline of the void]] and such? I'm into mtg lore and leylines play a huge role and I'd love to build bot only a deck with each, but also make it viable in a high two to mid 3 tier bracket kind of game.

One option is get them out free and early, then animate them into an army with something like [[opalescence]]. Any idea on how to make my meme a dream?

Mana in Magic

Hello! I was wondering what's some good sources if I wanted to explain mana in the magic universe?

How would you describe it?

Just trying to nail down the cosmology. I've been doing research and from what I see, magic is energy that gets shaped into reality. It saturates everything. Land doesn't really create it, it saturates it like a sponge depending on its connection to a leyline. But I'd love more info on it. Thanks in advance!

Nicol Bolas (MTG) vs The Emperor of Mankind (Warhammer)

Bloodlusted, instant combat, and fighting on Terra.

You have three main forms of bolas: Premending Bolas, Post mending Bolas, and WOTS Bolas (God Pharaoh)

Vs

31k Emporer, 40k Corpse emperor, and the Dark King

I've done some research, by some I mean alot. Here's a video detailing it

So I was reading up on the Warp and chaos gods. I saw claims with references saying the Warp touches many other realities, infinite amounts allegedly.

And that the chaos gods themselves exist in other realities inside the Warp (the four we are familiar with, plus many more of course)

Are the chaos gods in the Warp that exist in other realities copies of the chaos gods, like multiple spidermen do in the Marvel Multiverse. Or, are they like the Living Tribunal. Where there's just one, but he's in all the realities?

If so, does that mean the chaos gods are fighting on infinite fronts?

Or is this all just speculation? I get quantifying the Warp and chaos is kind of insane but I got the tism and want to understand it better

Here are some of the sources, I saw by this Youtuber
