Looking for student accommodation in Kaiserslautern from October.

Hello everyone,

I am an international student from India. I have been admitted to the Master's programme in Commercial Vehicle Technology at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau for the Winter Semester 2026/27.

I am currently looking for accommodation in Kaiserslautern from 1 October 2026.

My preferences are:
• Single room / studio apartment
• 2-person shared apartment (WG)
• 3-person shared apartment (WG)

Budget: €300–€450 per month.

I am a non-smoker, responsible, clean, and respectful tenant. I do not have any pets and will focus primarily on my studies and I am actively into competitive sports- badminton.

For my residence registration and visa requirements, I would need:
• Mietvertrag (rental contract)
• Wohnungsgeberbestätigung (landlord confirmation)

If you have a room available or know of any suitable accommodation, I would be very grateful if you could contact me.

Fellow students can also give me references or leads regarding the same, it would be really appreciated!

Thank you for your time and assistance.

New in Kaiserslautern

Hey everyone! I'm 26M and recently moved to Kaiserslautern. Still getting to know the city and was wondering what the electronic music scene is like here. I'm into, house, trance, and hardstyle. Has anyone been to Sonara? Is it worth checking out, or are there better places nearby? Also, if anyone here is into electronic music and wants to meet new people, feel free to reach out. I'd love to make some friends and explore the local scene together!
