Buzz beads
Anybody know of a source for buzz beads, similar to what Kalimba Magic used to sell? Not interested in chains.

it pisses me off how sometimes I want to play a song that I like on kalimba but there are no notes anywhere on the internet and I cant figure out which note to what. I need heeeeeeelp!! :,,,,,,,
Just bought this course and I seriously regret it. The video course is 13 minutes and 38 seconds of explanation no deeper than what I've already seen a dozen times from all of the Youtube tutorials, and the PDF is just that same information along with a bunch of public domain songs that are also available everywhere. I was hoping for something far more comprehensive and structured than "Hold it like this, here's how to use a tuning hammer, now lets play twinkle twinkle."
Does anyone know any actually good resources that go beyond the "My first 5 minutes with Kalimba"? I'm looking for something to give me guidance as I attempt to learn proper striking technique, the music theory, and a logical path of progression.
Je suis actuellement en train d’apprendre le Kalimba avec comme chanson,
celle de mon jeu préféré
finally got my first kalimba!!! given to me as a gift, hopefully i can start jamming out to music haha
Anybody know if Kalimba Magic is still in business? I've tried to order from their Web site with no success, and no response to emails.
I am working on "Kaze no Anthem" for kalimba since I havent seen it yet! This is my first time making a cover so its taken me almost a full day just for that chunk haaa but its gonna be worth it I hope!
Lemme know if youd like the notation i can for sure put it in the comments if needed :D
Absolute beginner, but I prefer to buy once/cry once... I want to learn/play African style patterns and rhythms, as opposed to traditional Western songs. This would be at home, unamplified. Currently thinking of a LingTing Kalimba 17 keys flatboard (LT-K17A). Based on something I saw in this group, I started looking at demo's of the HOKEMA Sansula Basic on Youtube and really like the sounds, but I wonder if having fewer keys might be an issue?
Are there them? Are there original compositions for kalimba(not covers)?
Hello all! I recently purchased a small solid-body 8 note meinl kalimba, and I was wondering if there was any way I could purchase additional tines that I could swap out? in case I wanted a different scale, you know. I play some music but I've never owned a kalimba before, are tines standardized at all? Any help would be appreciated!
