Psychologists in Lebanon
I want to make a list of good/trusted psychologists in lebanon but I’m not knowledgeable in that matter. So please if anyone knows any good and trusted psychologist, mention them in the comments so it can help the people in need.
Edit: You can dm me the name if you aren’t comfortable with sharing in comments
How do I ask mom to take me to get help lol
My teachers spoke to her behind my back in middle school and told her to take me to therapy but she laughed it off and told me and made fun of them now I'm in college I maneged to fix my self a bit like stoped sh buy uni is hella scary and I think I'm more likely to get worse then cope there but still don't dare tell her she's 64 🥲
I hate life
It feels like everything keeps getting harder and harder, and I’m reaching a point where I’m completely exhausted. I’m tired of constantly having to push through one difficult thing after another, and more than anything, I just want it all to stop for a while.
My dissociation has come back, and it’s making everything feel distant and unreal. It’s preventing me from fully experiencing or enjoying the moments that should bring me happiness. Even when something good happens, I feel disconnected from it, like I’m there physically but unable to truly be present or feel it.
Life just feels incredibly heavy right now. I’m exhausted from trying to keep going while feeling so disconnected from myself and the world around me. Everything feels harder than it should, and I honestly just wish things could become easier for once.
I think Im getting depressed again
I've been depressed for 4 years, was clean for 4. I think I'm getting back into depression. I've been sitting at work, wondering, having only 80$ in my pocket from my 500$ salary which all went to debts. I've been mentally exhausted. The only thing that I'm doing lately is working 40 hours a week, every day of the month. I'm wondering how long can I keep up, because I'm suffocating. I dropped out of university because my salary ain't enough even with the 50%.
I have a medical illness which requires me to take medicine and sometimes get to the E.R and I can't even do that because of how expensive it is and because the daman isn't covering anything. I am exhausted and I am mentally done, and I think that im slowly going back, spiraling into depression even tho I am a deeply spiritually connected to God.
I stopped doing what I love because why would i do that when my salary isn't enough to cover basic human needs. I keep on saying thank god to everything but even to this pain? I am, done
How many of us here are on meds?
Do you take/have you taken psych meds? What’s your experience like?
Let’s make this post a space for us to discuss our experiences and for asking any questions related to meds to reduce the stigma
Venting sorry guys🙏😭
Anyone else genuinely fucking tired of uni. I’m in my third year accounting, and it just hit me “do I really wanna do ts for the rest of my life” like holy fuck my mental health is genuinely at a low point rn which I hate to say. I got a very good job and I was the happiest person on the planet two days ago but now I genuinely just feel empty like wtf is the point of everything. Oh and I fucking saw my ex yesterday for 3 whole hours and she was flirting w other dudes and laughing while making eye contact LIKE I KNOW SOMETHING FUNNY TOO HOW AB THE SCREENSHOTS OF YOU CALLING ME DADDY. It genuinely feels like I’m getting my brains railed out every day omfgdggdgdh. I have 5 midterms in the next 2 weeks and am I gonna do good? Yes but holy fuck idk how much longer I can keep studying 6 hours a day for. Anyways rant over I think? Idk breathe in breathe out shit it’s prob gonna be sunshine and rainbows for me tomorrow but holy fuck I cannot with this shitty cycle
