I don't care if people display boxed sets*

Firstly, this isn't someone displaying a $200 set they found at target - and even if it was, my annoyance with keeping those sets sealed shouldn't matter. It's their display, not mine

But the majority of the time, the sets have a financial and historical value. AT-OT and Dropship, 03 Cloud City, 02 Slave 1, etc.

Personally, I'd build the set and display the empty box alongside it (best of both worlds), but I also understand the arguments behind keeping valuable sets sealed.

But, if someone doesn't want to devalue their expensive set and enjoys displaying it sealed, then that's understandable. Asking someone to take a $900 sealed set and make it worth $250 isn't something we should be doing. It's a big decision, and it's theirs to make.

We're buying overpriced plastic bricks to put on our shelves. It's a bit of a ridiculous debate tbh.

As long as they're not rudely bragging about it, idc
