Bunch of questions about 100% completion

Reading online some of the answers are pretty unclear, some say you can still get collectibles after point of no return etc. so I just want to get few things cleared, I am trying to do as much as I can before doing NG+ for other endings.

What should I do before going to Abyss Levoire?

I have no more side-quests on bounty board, I caught all the fish, I did all the photo challenges, I am missing some cans (I have probably like 36 now), do I need to get all the lore documents and other collectibles? I got the box hunter trophy by now.

This is supposed to be a baby dragon, all of the other dragons in this world look like any other dragon but this unholy amalgamation looks like one of those meme hybrids where the animal keeps original body with human face, this "creature" is just so repulsive to look at, it's not even cute or adorable just really uncanny valley kind of vibe, I guess they were going for the Disney vibe but it completely miss the mark.
