Macro with extension tube, godox it32, DIY diffuser
Shot with an EF 50mm f/1.8 STM, 36mm extension tube, Godox IT32 flash, and a homemade diffuser made from a styrofoam tube and two disposable paper plates. Setup photos attached.
Honestly, it worked better than I expected. The diffuser helped soften the flash nicely and kept the highlights on the ladybug much smoother.
A few photos of bugs, insects, spiders... in general

Lens extension and depth of field.
I printed a lens extension (30mm) for myself, and attached it to my 50mm, F1.8 lens.
I feel like the dept of field is too shallow. Considering that I can't control the aperture, is there any way to change the DOF? Like if I put on a circular bokeh filter?
