Agree with:
- The attention to detail in Mafia 2 is truly incredible, like how NPC’s will bribe police
- Robbing stores is a lot more interactive and immersive than even GTA5’s system
- I really love the writing of this game, it feels like it rewards those who pay attention to the small dialogues throughout
- Vito is 100% my favorite protagonist we play as within the series, and his brotherhood with Joe just makes his character arc and development that much better
- Vito Joe and Henry should’ve had more missions where they do various things as a trio
- I LOVE the vehicle handling and mechanics of this game, even over GTA 4 and 5
Great overall production and I’ll never complain about content in my favorite game franchise of all time. If you have some spare time I’d say it’s worth a watch.
Lost Heaven lads night out.
Ill start: The Godfather 1

Unlike other Mafia characters in the entire franchise. Like Sam and Cesare from Mafia 1 and The Old Country respectively, in which their characters symbolize blind and reckless loyalty towards their families over their closest friends; Henry from Mafia 2 who symbolizes bad luck towards Vito and Joe; or Sal and Giorgi from Mafia 3 who clearly symbolize betrayal, I can't figure out what type of character truly symbolize Carlo Falcone from Mafia 2.
Carlo Falcone was the don of the Falcone family in Empire Bay, becoming Vito and Joe's boss, who they became made men in his crime family. But after many events that occurred in the story, Vito and Joe ended up betraying him and collapsing his whole family. But unlike other dons like Salieri, in which Tommy developed a very strong loyalty and even a close friendship with him, until he and his friends discovered that he broke his own omerta and he wasn't truly an honorable don like he claimed to be; Or Torrisi who also seemed to be an honorable don, when in reality he only cared about his own image, rather than the happiness of his own daughter, acting more like a ruthless dictator towards her and his own crime family, Falcone doesn't seem to symbolize anything big in particular.
At first I thought that his character could symbolize a corrupt don or a parasite ruling a crime family, due to his goals to become the major drug supplier in Empire Bay and getting rid of any competition. But I think the characters that symbolize that much better are actually Alberto Clemente and Luca Gurino, because of their attempt to rip Vito and Joe off by asking them $5000.00 per each in order to be made in their family, getting themselves in trouble with the commission, because they were actually breaking their own rules in the mafia. Without mentioning that they were also involved in the drug business like Falcone. And unlike Salieri who hid the truth about his drug trafficking towards his own men, Carlo Falcone didn't hide his drug business, with everyone in the commission knowing that.
I also don't see him as a very strong antagonist, especially by comparing him with previous and later antagonists in the series. Unlike Morello who was a hot-headed and unpredictable don who wanted to get rid of Salieri many times around the story of Mafia 1; Or Sal Marcano who betrayed all of his long-time and loyal associates to legitimize his own family by screwing the rest in the process in Mafia 3, Falcone never became hostile towards Vito until the last chapter, after he discovered all the mess that he and Joe caused in the city, knowing also that Vito was sent by the commission to whack him in the same chapter. At the same time, Vito never developed a deep loyalty towards Falcone, nor an actual strong relationship with him, like with the case of Tommy with Salieri; or Lincoln with Sammy. So I don't think that he could fit in that category either.
The closest thing that the character of Falcone could actually symbolize is someone who became a victim by exterior problems caused by their own men (Vito and Joe). Because Falcone never screwed Vito nor Joe in any moment through the story, like Marcano did to Lincoln and the Black and Irish Mobs. Although, it's heavily implied that the fake cops who tried to steal the drugs from Vito, Joe and Henry in chapter 12 were actually Falcone's men (with the YouTube channel of TheProfessional giving pretty good evidence that they were very likely Falcone's men), Falcone and his men probably didn't know that the drug buyers who tried to steal all of their drugs in the Triads' factory were actually Vito, Joe and Henry, so this doesn't necessarily count as an attempt to screw Vito and Joe intentionally. And NO, that overrated and irrelevant comment from Daniel Vavrá (a former developer of Mafia 2) claiming that Henry was actually framed by Falcone doesn't count. Because that developer left the company in the middle of Mafia 2's development and his claims and visions never became canon in the final product.
I'm not saying that Falcone was an actual innocent person by any means. He was definitely a criminal and a cold blooded mob boss, who wanted to poison Empire Bay with drugs and getting rid of any kind of competition. But he became basically a disposable pawn by Leo and the commission, in order to finish the war that Vito and Joe started between the Triads and the Vinci family specifically, by whacking Falcone and dissolving his entire organization in Empire Bay. With Vito and Joe screwing him at the end, with no loyalty towards him. But even if this is the type of character that Falcone actually symbolizes in Mafia 2, it's not actually a big thing, especially by comparing him with other dons and characters in the Mafia series. But what do you think?
Lucio Marcano was the unseen brother of Sal Marcano in Mafia 3, who was killed before the events of that game. We only heard his name from Sal, his wife Olivia, and also from Donovan when he was talking with the senator. We can also find a picture of him with Sal in his office (in which he looks oddly similar to Remy Duvall). It wasn't until the launch of Mafia Definitive Edition when we saw new images from the Marcano family, along with other seen and unseen families in the Mafia universe, through cigarette cards. But unlike his picture from Mafia 3, in his cigarette card he looks unrecognizable. Especially with that hairstyle that gives me more vibes of street punks from the second half of the XX century, but wearing outfits from the 20's/30's.
I know it AI. I am a lazy prick with no talent what so ever. But to be fair this meme is about making AI slop
