What's your theory? (Related to the casting news)

So, we see in the casting news John Cho is back in season 2. Probably means his decapitation was not permanent. What do you think will be the shows explanation for the actors return?

Who's voice would you give ART?

When I read Peris lines I imagine the voice of Patton Oswald(picture). Just the right amount of sarcasm in every word.

If they are going to adapt Network Effect as a full-length season, I want to see this bit happened.

Each episode starts with an excerpt from a file labeled HelpMe.file (I hope it's in video format) before the intro plays. (Personally, I want more excerpts than what was shown from the book).

Then somewhere like Episode 7, MB 2.0 meets Three and to help and persuade Three, MB 2.0 sends the HelpMe.file to Three, then the episode cuts there right after.

The next episode, it plays the last excerpt, cuts back to MB 2.0 and Three, then MB 2.0 says the lines:

#I’m letting you see all this because I want you to know what I am and what I can do. I want you to know who targetControlSystem is fucking with right now. I want you to know if you help me, I’ll help you, and that you can trust me. Now here’s the code to disable your governor module.

Then the intro plays.

Martha Wells told us what the TV show would look like, in 2020.

"If I’d been a normal bot, or a normal SecUnit, just off inventory, it would have been fine. But I was me, Murderbot. So instead of Mensah having a pet bot like poor Miki, or a sad bot/human construct that needed someone to help it, the way humans would show it in their media, she had me."

Here in the show, we have a sad bot/human construct who needs someone to help it, with much less time to itself than SecUnit before meeting Preservation. It's got to be the documentary Dr Bharadwaj is producing about bot/human relations, with not everyone agreeing to appear, with needing to adjust relationships in the show, down to adding a LeebeeBee to demonstrate Corporation Rim mindset (and plug the plot hole of SecUnits acting without a human controller). Everything is perfectly framed and shot like a show would be, like the freshly deleted SecUnit with its new governor module boxed in by the doorframe to show it's trapped again. Even the climax of the show, with the confused SecUnit saved at the very last second from an acid bath by Pin-Lee, shows MB's finely tuned sense of drama and timing.

[OC] Murderbot Gets Jurassic Park'ed

after years of trying and failing to pick up blender and finish a single model, i successfully modeled, textured, and rigged TWO models, motivated solely by the need to attack murderbot jurassic park style out of sheer love for it.

the creature attacking it is my quetzalcoatlus northropi persona!
also mb has long hair because i didnt wanna model ears haha
