Apple TV with Now TV Sky Sports F1 UHD

First time poster and I'm hoping someone can help me. I have a Apple TV box , NOW with Ultra boost and Sonos Arc Ultra, Era 100 surround and a sub

When watching Sky Sports F1 UHD during qualifying I only get PCM Stereo, however if I go to a Sky Sports Tennis I get 5.1 surround sound. I get Dolby sound via plex media.

I'm checking the above audio via the Sonos app. Tv is in passthrough for Audio and Apple TV is set up correctly I believe otherwise the Tennis channel & Plex wouldn't show 5.1.

If I go onto Now via my TV app I get HD and Dolby sound, same channel via Apple TV I get UHD but only Stereo PCM.

Anyone offer any guidance or settings to check?

Best way to integrate your Now TV subscription with your Freeview channels.

Hi

I remember few years back Now TV sold a box that you could put an aerial in for Freeview. Is this box still about?

What's the best freeview box that has the Now TV app?

I do still like and watch many of the Freeview channels so just using the Now TV app for my entertainment I find abit limiting.

I know the new Manhattan freely box seems good but it doesn't have the Now TV app

What are other people set ups?

Thanks in advance

Want to leave sky

Hi all

We currently have sky Q and broadband, its is literally costing us a fortune each month at £200 per month!!

I know……. 🤦‍♂️

Well it’s time to change, and now tv keeps popping up.
My tv is 4k hd capable. So if I went for the now tv 4k boost, is there much difference between sky and now tv apart from the price and recording??

Many thanks

Looking to get Sports at cheapest price

Hi, I was wondering what’s the cheapest way to get the Sports pass ahead of the next Premier League season? £28 with their 6 month saver plan is still unfortunately a bit steep for me. I’d likely want to add a boost for picture quality. I’ve seen some people in past threads commenting that they’ve got it for as little as £20. Any advice or options would be greatly appreciated

Turn off dubbing?

Whenever I've tried to watch non-English language shows on my NowTV box, it's automatically dubbed into English. I'd prefer to watch in the original language with subtitles but can't work out how to do this in the settings... Is it possible? TIA

Last Week Tonight gone?

Hello - I’ve logged into NOW to watch an episode of Last Week Tonight, and the programme seems to have completely disappeared from the search function.

I was able to watch the most recent episode that aired last week, but looking today it’s nowhere to be seen - does anyone know why this might be?

Thanks.

Two device streaming issue

I have the Boost package which allows TWO devices to be streaming at once. We are logged in on a few devices right now, but only one other person is currently streaming (my sister, who is the only one with the details as well as me). Every time I try to watch, it says “two people are already streaming”. Only me and her have the password, and only she is watching.

I contacted live support and they did a refresh and logged us out of all devices, yet it still isn’t working. What can I do?

Why would you choose Now?

It used to be the only legal place to get HBO stuff. Now that HBO has its own app what's the point? The fact you have to upgrade to watch in 1080p and then they have the cheek to make it look like a big deal... is this like 2010 or something? The sky shows aren't exactly top tier either. How can they sustain this business model?

Now TV App on Pleio Freely Puck

Had this message appear on our Pleio freely puck which I use to launch the Now App.

Pleio I think runs off google / android OS. The app originates from the Google play store.

When I follow the link to see what devices they’re discontinuing, it doesn’t make any reference to this.

Wondered if anyone had the same?

Over saturated picture on House of the Dragon S03E01

Is anybody else being blinded when watching the first episode of season three of House of the Dragon on Now TV via the app?

I'm watching it on an LG C4 in HDR and it's so over saturated that it's offensive. I've switched to the HBO Max app to cast it which is much better but obviously it's not HDR.

Any fix?
