2023 Jets vs Chargers Gameday Pin

Hello r/nyjets! I am a chargers fan who just learned about game day pins and come here asking to see if anyone has one or an extra 2023 Jets vs Chargers game day pin. This was my first chargers game I ever attended and it was gift from my wife for my first Father’s Day. If anyone has one or an extra I would love for you to reach out to me via DMs about it!

We need a certified flair that you can’t get after a certain date

50 years of suck has been fun. Jets are getting a real QB and turning the corner after 2027. We have to stop the inevitable bandwagon brigade when we start to dominate. I could post my 9 year old self in a Wesley Walker jersey, but AI exists now. ✈️ 😝

The ups and downs, mostly downs, of fanning from afar.

We have been to two Jets games in 26 years.

We actually had plans to attend a third.. The last was the Jets /Raiders game in Vegas, the year Aaron Rodgers signed with the Jets, and we were looking forward to seeing him play. We canceled our plans after he tore his ACL on his first play of his first game

We also had great expectations for the first game in the new, MetLife Stadium, the Jets-Giants 2010 preseason game. Rex Ryan was coaching and the team had gone to the AFC championship the year before.

The Jets were barely in the game. Victor Cruz scored three touchdowns for the Giants, and one of them was made off a one-handed catch. The exuberance of the Giants fan in front of us, a bouncy Rosie Perez lookalike, was salt in the wound.

But, at least, the Jets made the playoffs again that year, and Rex would celebrate by getting a tattoo of his wife wearing a Mark Sanchez jersey. Determined to redeem himself against the Giants, the next year he played Sanchez too long in an essentially meaningless preseason game. The first string QB injured his shoulder and missed the entire season. Neither the Jets nor Sanchez have seen a playoff since.

Rex was still coaching in 2014, and second round draft choice, Geno Smith, showed some promise so we attended the Jets/Charges game in San Diego.

Geno was benched at half time. (The final score for that one was 31 zip Chargers). He might have found his stride with the Jets in the next season, but he was targeted by the Jets preseason curse. He and a teammate got into a locker room fight over money loaned. Punches were thrown. Geno’s jaw was broken.

Better luck, this time, Geno.

But we have a chance to see a sure fire winning this year and I am drinking the KoolAid.)
The pros predict that the AZ Cardinals will have a 19-0 season.

Glendale, here we come!

Happy to call myself a Jets fan this season!

Hey, everyone!

Just wanted to say I’m super excited to be a Jets fan this season. Tim Patrick is family, and we couldn’t be happier about him joining the team. Just from lurking this sub the past few days, it seems like a great community. Cant wait to see yall in the game threads!

Are we getting a new jersey?

I believe we are at the max amount of jerseys you can have but I saw somewhere that the Jets are lines up to adjust one if their uniforms... I wonder if we are scrapping the white "throwback" for a different throwback uni?

I also read a revision to the black jersey but I doubt it since that template is used for home and away and color rush is too new.

Win Prediction 2026

Time to get unnecessarily over enthusiastic for the season as we are all eternal optimists at heart. But I see 9 potentially winnable games this year:

Titans, Browns, Dolphins, Raiders, Chargers, Dolphins, Cardinals, Patriots, Vikings.

I was talking with my friend (non-Jets fan) and he truly sees the Jets being one of the best turn around teams this year. It does feel like we have the most well rounded team in a long time.

The Jets now officially (after the Buffalo Sabers just snapped theirs) are the longest current non-playoff appearance in all of professional sports at 15 years. I’d love to think 2026 is the year… what do you guys think??

Which 3 first round picks will the Jets have by the end of the season? Submit your prediction now and we'll see who's most accurate.

Only list the pick numbers; you don't need to mention which of the Jets, Colts, and highest of Cowboys/Packers picks corresponds to each pick number. I'll go with 10, 14, and 17 as my prediction

[Schultz] The Dolphins and Pro Bowl RB De'Von Achane have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $68M, making him the NFL’s 3rd-highest-paid RB at $17M per year with $32M guaranteed, per multiple sources.

Did the coin flip thing. Statistically speaking, I'm shocked. Otherwise, no surprise
