2 months in a row they have cut my credit limit in half I went from having a 15,000 limit to now today it being 3500. I always pay this card in full every month on time. What gives. Seems like since EQ bank took over it's been getting worse, I'm worried they are going to lower it again next month and it will then make my card useless to use for my daily spending because usually within a billing cycle I'm spending about $2000 a month on it. Absolutely absurd.

Edit: call attempt one after navigating all the bullshit in the menus I've been on hold 20 minutes and now my break is over and have to hang up. This is going great.

So i used to give money for intrest and also used to earn from gambling
For giving 30k i used to recieve 50k n all
From gambling also i made pretty much
Recently my fedral bank account got frozen
And when i go to the bank they r asking for the source of income what will i do

I received a email on the 4th of August for my replacement card for my Pc credit mastercard. It said it was on the way. Sended with Canada Post. I live in Québec. We are the 17th of August and I still haven't received it yet. Does anyone knows how much time it takes to get it? Thanks.

I got approved for a World Elite Mastercard but when I tried to activate it, it wouldn’t work. I called the number and was told that my account had been closed.

They are refusing to tell me why my account was closed. I’ve spoken to two agents on the phone. Both were rude and said that they don’t have to tell me the reason. I tried calling the executive customer care, but can’t get thru to an agent. Keeps going to voicemail.

I am absolutely BAFFLED, my credit score is excellent, no missed payments nor bankruptcies or anything ever, “high” income earner, I meet all the requirements. There is absolutely ZERO reason I can think of for my account to be closed. And nobody at PC is giving me any explanation. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

How can I proceed from here? Is there any way I could report PC to the government or some regulator? Is it even legal to just close an account and not say why?

In Feb I had to use it in Vietnam, and to my surprise I got exact spot FX on the DONG FX rate. I also used in in Colombia as the rate seemed very close to spot and around the same range as WS and EQ. (this was June/July).

Im unable to make e-transfer or any type of transactions, it says to call but its been over 2 hours and a half waiting on the line with no help.

I used my card all weekend long and I had no issue whatsoever.

If you decide to restrict my account for security reason, ITS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL ME. It’s insane they just expect us to figure this out while trying to use the card and realize its blocked !

And you can’t just wait around 3 hours for them to pick up the phone.

Also, if you always have 2-3 hours of wait period, it’s not unusual or special circumstances. You’re short staff.

So I closed my account the other day (just fed up with PC's absurdities of late), and it was a GIANT hassle. The first rep I spoke to told me that my account was "closed", but that I might keep getting monthly statements emailed to me... which did not sound particularly closed. So I checked, and lo and behold I could still log into my PC Financial app, see my account, $0 balance, transactions, etc. It took me repeatedly insisting that I wanted my account actually closed for him to transfer me to an 'account specialist' who informed me that my account had been set to inactive, but I informed him that was NOT what I wanted, and so he finally closed my account for real this time. I requested emailed (I have received this) and physical (still waiting but it hasn't been long enough yet) confirmation that my PC financial account is actually closed, and I can no longer log into my PC Financial account, so it seems that it's actually closed now.

So just be warned, if you try and close your account, they're apparently just setting them to inactive, telling you it's "closed", and hoping you just go away. You have to be forceful and insist they do what you ask - and make sure to require confirmation of it just in case.

Brought in a return to Costco.

Swiped my card, input my pin. Return completed.

My return is still "pending" two days later? What gives? I've NEVER experienced this with any other bank. I literally put my card in and they gave me my refund - why the hell is it pending AT ALL? I should have received my money immediately.

I am unbelievably livid right now.

Just paid off my credit card in full. I plan on buying the new MacBook when the available credit posts. (Mignt come up to 5K CAD) And am wondering if anyone has had any issues using their card right after a large payment? Should I call in and inform them?
