PC Financial App?

How often does the PC app go down or not let anyone log in. For the past couple of months I’ve seen tons of people complaining about the app constantly being down, issues in general with PC. How extreme are all of those things as I’m considering moving my savings from Neo to PC since Neo's interest rate dropped.

Does customer support answer the phone?

Does anyone have any tricks to get through to customer support on the phone? I’ve called repeatedly and sat on hold for 30-60 minutes each time only to have the system hang up on me. It’s regarding fraud on my PC money account so I have to speak to them, live chat isn’t an option.

Accounts Merged and PC Financial will not unmerge - Affecting my credit score

I added my friend as an authorised user to my credit card. He already had a PC Financial Online Account for his banking. He called to get them merged, but instead of merging just his accounts together, they merged MY PC Financial account with his. They profusely apologised and said it’d be fixed within the next 5 business days and they still had all my information in the system. This was on May 13th.

Since then, the statements still have his name and PC Financial hasn’t reported any new credit reports to Equifax or TransUnion, and my credit score has gone down twice. I’ve called them multiple times and have communicated that I want to file a complaint. I tried reporting them to the Ombudsman but apparently I haven’t “Completed the PC Financial Complaint Process”. And every time I call them, they tell me that it’ll be solved within 5 business days and their tech team is working on it.

WHAT THE HELL THIS IS ABSURD! At the same time, I’m trying to rent a room as well. Don’t go with this bank. Anyways, what should I do next?

Am I likely to get approved for a PC Mastercard?

Looking for some guidance based on your own experiences/what you know of approvals.

I’ve been rebuilding my credit since 2022. Credit is now 701 on equifax but transunion is reporting 646. It’s my understanding that PC usually pulls from Equifax.

The only debt I have is my OSAP of $15k, I pay that monthly no issues. Have not missed a payment since 2024. I’ve had 2 credit cards closed back in 2020 and the balances have been paid off in full for years. I had one collection on my record that was $300 that has been paid and I have the discharge papers.

I’m full time employed and make 55k per year plus extra income. I started this job a few weeks ago but was full time before then as well. When I did the application without submitting just to see the questions, it didn’t ask for length of time employed just if I was full time and what my salary was. When I talked to the bank about getting a card with them, they said to wait a few more months because my transunion score was low, it hadn’t been updated since June 10. I brought up equifax and she said “just wait a few more months to apply”.

Should I wait to apply till my transunion score goes up or would I be okay to proceed?

PC hasn’t reversed my funds for over 8 months

Basically, I paid my phone bill twice and to the wrong account number for Rogers.

Mistake on my end I accept that. I got 1 digit extra in that payee and paid 2 of my bills to that. Called Rogers and they said that account number doesn’t exist. The said to call my bank.

Called PC in Oct, Nov, Jan. They created a case and said someone will reach out. No one reached out about October. Someone called for the Nov complaint. No follow up after January.

I missed the call when I did get it and called back and it was sent to their stupid automated system.

They’ve created 4 different reference numbers and made me wait so long every time and all the agents don’t know jack shit.

So my money is just floating around somewhere IDK.

What do I do now??😭 should I contact the CAO or straight to Ombudsmen?

Posted times

Good morning. I had roughly 90$ refunded to my pc account the refund was requested june 19 and june 20th . It shows it was posted june 22nd. I leave everything in my savings account and nothing is ever in my chequing account. But i never actually received the refund and i know that for a fact because i calculated everything in my account. Im wondering if anyone else has issues with this? I truly hate pc’s way of posting transactions.

Issues with credit card

Hello all,

Had some fraudulent transactions on my credit card, reported to PC financial within 2 days of the fraud happened. They informed me that somehow my credit card was added into someone else Google wallet. The card was freezed. Later when I called after 1.5 months of no new cards received, the person told me that they have closed my credit card account(that was best possible solution for them at that time) and i have to reapply. They did not gave me option to reapply. Later they reported me as delinquent because I missed payment on fraudulent transactions on a credit account that was closed by them. I complained about that to customer service the credit account reappeard for few seconds and then disappeared again.

Before someone jump onto conclusions. My credit score is 794. I always pay credit card before using. Before credit fraud I had paid surplus for roughly $45.19 for emergency uber.

PC Money is a grift

I am so disappointed in, and disgusted by PC Financial. I opened a PC Money account without any issues and deposited $3,000 in it. The next day I tried to log in to put more money in, and the website said my access was restricted.

Getting through to an actual account “specialist” took two days and roughly 3 hours on hold total. When I finally got through, I was told, literally, “The account has been closed, and that decision is final.”
Umm what?

She just kept reiterating that “they” (no idea who that referred to) had probably seen something in my information and they had closed the account.

There is no one else to talk to. No options. They closed my account with my $3,000 in it, and didn’t bother to even inform me that there had been an issue.

The woman on the phone (whose name is Reshma or Reshna) told me she could put in a request for me to get my money back.
A request. To get MY money back.

I am so beyond angry it’s hard to put into words. Of course I filed a complaint, but I have no illusions that that is going to make a difference.

I guess now all I can do is hope that at some point PC Money deigns to send me back my savings.
What the actual fuck?? How is this legal??
