I’m so proud of me.
I think I just need someone here to say congrats but until then it’s between me and the girl who thought she’d never achieve this. WE DID IT!!!!!

I just need to finish the paying it off lol
I received a call right after I finished a test, the left a voicemail but with little to no information within said voicemail I just want to make sure it’s legit this is the number that called me 800-392-7222. I haven’t failed any tests so I’m not sure why they’d be contacting me
After graduating and paying them off how long did your physical diploma take to be mailed out?
So I feel like I've missed out my whole teenage and high school years because of covid since that happened I switched to online and never even got to try out irl school. Now I'm 18 with 10.5 credits on james madison it's too late for me to try and go back and even because covid I didn't even do middle school. I'm just wondering if you guys know any way of helping me not feel like I regret my whole life because I feel really stupid and sad because I missed alot and will never get to experience it ever again.
Enrolled on 4/17/26, just emailed old school to transfer credits. I have 8.5 credits. How long will it take me to graduate. Also can someone please explain the 15 quizzes a week rule. Is it one credit per week, or what because it’s confusing I got put on hold for five days on my first day. In Penn foster I got half a credit for foundations of personal growth, and Learning success through technology. Will they add my 8.5 credits on top of that or no?
Thanks everyone.
I'm in 10th grade and thinking of doing pen foster is there anything I will truly miss from regular school
Graduating online is soooo lonely bro. My gf and I graduated with penn foster a few months apart and now we plan on traveling to go to graduation!! I wanted to make some friends with some other weird girlies before we got there(preferably 17-19?) I want this to feel like a normal graduation where you hangout and get excited with your friends, you know?
Hello! I understand the whole academic hold thing but am curious because i’ve heard different dates for the graduation deadline. I understand that all academic and financial marks have to be met! I have 6 classes left so am just wondering if anybody has any clue when the cutoff date is/if i can complete it in time.
I’m sure i can do all coursework but am unsure since you’re only allowed to do 14 classes without put on hold. I believe it’ll take me three or so weeks to finish my classes and that’s staying under the limit. So if the cutoff date is June 13th like i’ve heard, it’ll be hard to finish with the rules. Any help would great thank you! Can’t wait to hopefully go to graduation.
What is it like and how many hours is it? I’ve never done an internship/externship and I’m asking as my works about to have a break in a few weeks and I’d like to take avatange of it to get that out of the way I’ll have two weeks off is it possible to get the amount of required hours for it or not really? And could I also work at a horse retreat that cares for some disabled horses could that count towards it?
Hi everyone!
As our community grows, we want to make sure this remains a helpful space for all Penn Foster learners. To keep the focus on what matters, actually earning your diploma or degree and making sure that you can stand behind your well-earned education, we’re officially adding a new rule regarding rapid completion.
Why the change?
We love to see enthusiasm to reach the finish line! That said, trying to speed through your program may raise academic review flags and, more importantly, can limit opportunities for meaningful learning. Our goal is for every learner to get the most value from their time with us, so they’re truly prepared to achieve their goals. Taking the time to review your lessons thoughtfully before moving ahead is the best way to set yourself up for consistent success and long‑term retention of what you learn.
Keep it Real:
Questions on the academic pacing and how it works are permitted. However, posts asking how to bypass lessons, exams, skip material or graduate within an unrealistic timeline will be removed.
Focus on Learning:
We want to protect the value of your diploma. Your effort matters because that’s where the learning actually happens, not just checking a box but gaining real knowledge and skills.
Posts we love to see:❤️

Anyone know any tips or tricks on how to remember material in the courses? For example, I read the course and get through it and do the quizzes and stuff then maybe like 3 days or 1 week later I just forgot what was in that course entirely. Anyone know what I can do to remember it?
So first off don’t get me wrong I love Penn foster they have helped me with so much but for my last year I want to physically walk across that stage for my senior year 2027 btw. But I am doing the 55 a month payment plan so would I have to $ the rest off for them to be able to release my transcripts to the school I wanna go to for senior year or would they just un enroll me and send them the stuff I hope someone here can help because I really don’t wanna end up paying all this money just to find out they would’ve sent them to the school for free without me paying the full amount
so im 15, about to turn 16. at the start of 9th grade i left in person school, tried acellus for a bit and hated it, only got through a few classes and then just stopped. ive been months without doing anything school related since. now i want to do penn foster but have no idea where to start or how anything works
how do credits, classes and esp electives work, how are exams, and assignments, also academic hold i keep hearing of.. how does that work because i hated when acellus would make me stop working until next week after 40 steps, and how long does it take to finish? i also have no clue where id place since i only did a little bit of 9th grade and i really dont want to end up graduating late. pretty sure id just restart from 9th grade id prefer that, so how do i transfer my 8th grade credits?
ive also heard people say penn foster is kind of like a GED which worries me a bit, so is the quality of education actually decent? because it seems too easy in a way like 6 months fast track for whats supposed to be 4 years of hs? and how do universities see the diploma for admissions in the u.s since i do plan on going after i graduate with hopefully some sort of scholarship which idk if that would be possible.
also im currently abroad in the middle east in a country penn foster probably doesnt recognize, but i have a us phone number, us payment and im a us citizen born and raised so i dont think itll be an issue. ill be going back to the us after high school anyway. just wanted to mention it in case anyone has dealt with something similar
any advice or experience would really be appreciated because i have no idea what im doing or starting !
I just saw a post about how this person i used to go to school with irl in elementary is about to graduate in 5 days and I only have 10.5 credits. I just feel like a failure a little bit idk sorry if this is too much
so for a little context i, (23f) never graduated high school and i’m now looking into going back to school cause i don’t want to get a GED. i previously was homeschooled since 2nd grade so i’m used to doing school at my pace. i’ve been looking into different options cause there’s not a lot for adult education at home and my in-laws found penn foster. i know nothing about it, and i want to make sure it’s legit before i spend the money on enrollment. so is it worth it and would i get a true high school diploma?
Hi everyone! I’m considering enrolling in Penn Foster for High School and would be starting as a freshman, so I’d be completing the entire high school program from 9th through 12th grade. I know the program is self paced, but I’m willing to dedicate several hours a day to my coursework and work very consistently. For anyone who has completed the program, how long did it take you to finish all four years? Is it realistic to graduate in less than two years if you stay motivated and put in a lot of work each day? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Absolutely frustrated! Why is the externship process for vet assistant so awful? I get all the information I need but I am caught up on one question. The clinc I'm going with said they've worked with Penn Foster before? But giving me info that Penn foster may not allow. (Clinc supervisor is a PM) which isn't listed on the form Penn Foster uses? Not even Platt college allows this.
Is Platt even a better place for vet tech learning? I love Penn Foster but getting in contact with them sucks! I email, I call, etc. I set up meeting but they really only have so much time which sucks! Because it means I have to book another meeting if I want more in depth detail on questions.
How do I get Penn foster to reply to me quicker than a week :(
I’m considering enrolling in Penn Foster High School, but I’m still unsure and would love to hear from people who have experience with it.
Some of my biggest concerns are:
- Whether colleges, especially more selective schools, accept a Penn Foster diploma
- If the education is high quality and ACTUALLY prepares me well for college
- Whether credits transfer easily
- If employers and scholarship programs recognize the diploma
I’m hoping to attend college after graduating, possibly at a university far from home, so I want to make sure this would not limit my options.
If you completed Penn Foster or know someone who did, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience and whether you felt it was worth it.
