Hey all,

At this time, we have temporarily shut down our account servers while we perform emergency maintenance. We do not have any more details at the moment, and we are doing this purely as a safety precaution.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience; we are working to get our services online again as soon as possible.

P.S I want to post this for people wondering why they can't go online and so people won't keep wondering why they can't enter friend codes.

Edit: I realized I should have put the word "Temporary" in the title as I unintentionally scared some people into thinking that Pretendo got shut down. 😅

Edit 2: I also should have made it clear that I don't work with Pretendo Network I just wanted to spread the word out to people who don't have discord.

The majority of Pretendo services are back online!

The account servers, Juxtaposition, friends list and some games, are all functional on Wii U.

However, on 3DS, only SOME features; login, accounts and juxtaposition, work right now. Nimbus will likely be updated within the next few hours to fix this.

This maintenance was done to resolve a security flaw on our network. We identified and fixed an issue that would allow an attacker to access accounts without proper authorization, which was used against Juxt staff in order to spam posts on their accounts. Only two staff accounts were accessed with this exploit, so you do not need to take any action to keep your account secure.

Update details

Wii U users will not need to update Inkay or their DNS settings,

3DS users will receive a 002-0122 error if they do not update Nimbus.
You can update and fix the error by following these steps:

• Updating Nimbus with Universal Updater or the new release on GitHub
• Opening Nimbus, and clicking the START button to reboot and apply the fix
• Applying the fix will take a few seconds after rebooting.
• If the error remains, you may need to get closer to your router or force reboot your console to get a reliable connection. Also see this.

What do I do?? I've tried at least 10 different passwords and none seem to be satisfactory -_-

Hello all,

I'm buying a 3ds XL console with luma3ds already installed but for now i want to use it for pokemon bank -> pokemon home. How can i check if the console has pretendo network and if it does how can i change it back to NNID till February that bank closes down?
I can't really find anything related to this question in google.
