Found an ibm 5150!

Saw this laying in a skip outside a half demolished mill and decided to save it from landfill (not 100% sure if that breaks the keep it legal rule but ill soon find out ig.) Im completely inexperienced when it comes to old retro computers but from what I can tell this model is somewhat rare or at the very least expensive so I'd love to see what I can do to bring this pc back from its current condition

Can someone identify this case?

I was given this tower- haven't turned it on yet because I need to get peripherals, but my biggest question is: what the hell brand is this case? The logo obviously fell off at some point. I've included pictures of the guts in case they'll help give any kind of helpful direction. Thanks!

What to do with "older parts"?

I'm planning on building a new PC asap. But I got "older parts" I don't know if I should keep, recycle/sell or trash. Parts: IDE, ATA, SATA cables, Svideo cables, TV tuner card, ATA HDD (used) & NIB, PSU cables, etc. Are these worth keeping, recycle/sell, or trash?

Is It interesting?

WARNING! This project is only for educational purposes, the project itsellf is in this moment trash on fire.

So... im working on project, That project is litlle AI, designed for old windows nt's . It has 44 milion parameters (yup, same architecure as chatgpt), I call it CAINE (A reference to AI from "The Amazing Digital Circus" ). Currently, its in beta, and non public. And this ai works fine on some pc's (minimum 192 mb ram, and pentium pro 250 mhz) from 90's , tested it on celeron 366 mhz and 256 mb ram and of course windows nt 4.0

Should it go public?

Is this worth anything?

I found this CPU in some old house. Some pins are broken off but some still can be bent in place.

Is it still worth anything?

HD2600PRO AGP "doesn´t like" AMD systems??

Hello everyone!

I have a collection of motherboards, CPUs, and GPUs from the 2000s.

I have an HIS video card, a Radeon HD2600PRO 512MB AGP, and something simply bizarre happens: on Intel systems (from my Pentium III 1.4GHz Tualatin to my Pentium 4 670 3.8GHz), it works perfectly fine, without crashing, without blue screens, nothing.

But as soon as I put it in an AMD motherboard (Duron, Sempron, and especially Athlon XP (from the 1500+ to the 3200+ in my collection) and an Athlon 64 3200+ (I have socket 754 and 939 with AGP), in short, in AMD it even installs the driver (the same one installed in an Intel system and it runs perfectly), but when it tries to load Windows XP, the machine freezes during boot.

I tested it on AMD systems, VIA chipsets (KT333, KT400 and KT600), as well as the nVidia nForce 2 Ultra 400, some SiS cards that I don't remember, and NOTHING makes this card work...

Does anyone have any idea what this nonsense could be??

Thank you!
