RocknixDS 1.5 is now out on both RGDS devices

New version includes support for both the RGDS plus and original RGDS, a new theme engine, improved power profiles, and other features and improvements.
I would be very happy if you wanted to try it out, it’s easy to uninstall if you don’t like it.
Photo introduces some blue tint on the screens which is not particularly representative of the actual look of the theme.

"Lightbleed" appeared before my eyes on RGDS Plus
I was so happy when I opened the box, tested my device and there was no lightbleed whatsoever the screen was perfect, and frankly I was a bit afraid from all the posts. I then simply turned it off (from the menu), removed the SD card to add games, reinserted the sd-card and when I turned it again I literally SAW this light bleed "materializing" before my waking eyes. There was none, then it "faded in" very quickly, very strongly on the four corners and mostly on bottom center, more to the left. This can't be from pressure, the screen was fine I didn't even as much as touched the bottom screen with the stylus or anything. Do I have to return my device? It is so white that it looks more like some sort of shader overlay than something on the actual screen. Damn, this sucks.
UPDATE: the screen "lightbleed" artifact went away on its own by the next morning.

Gamma OS Nano was updated to v1.4.3 for Anbernic RG DS Plus, whereas the first Anbernic RG DS hasn't received this update, do you know why?

I installed this new version of Rocknix made for the rg ds and rg ds plus
And nothings work (expect for 3ds) and even DS GAMES

Gamma OS 1.4 release
I ve been waiting for 2 months for gamma os 1.4 for my rg ds but it is just not public yet. I ve heard that gamma squeeze normally shares the password in about 2 months yet I m not seeing the password shared. I am not subscribing to patreon because of financial issues obviously. Do you guys have any idea about this. Appriciate all the kind answers!! thanks!

Better gba emulator than retroarch?
I’m trying to play gba games but for some reason settings I change in retro arch just wont save no matter what i do, everytime i load a game it has reset my settings back to default. I’m throwing in the towel with retroarch and wondering if there is a different gba emulator that yall use?

Why does GammaOS on RG DS PLUS even exist 💀
I genuinely don’t understand the hype around GammaOS on the RG DS Plus.
I tried both GammaOS and ROCKNIX and honestly I couldn’t find any meaningful difference in DS emulation. DraStic runs basically the same on both for me.
Rocknix is just a clean Linux-based handheld OS with no Android overhead, no unnecessary background services, no phone/tablet bullshit, and it feels much more appropriate for a device with 1GB of RAM.

so I've been trying to play a a 3ds game on rocknix but I somehow cant get it to work I've tried decrypting since somebody said that's what you need to do DOSENT WORK I've spent way too long on just trying to play a game and I really need help did I decrypt wrong or does azahar just suck????

RGDS Plus on GammaOS Nano : TF Card Content Takes a While to Load After Boot
I’ve noticed that everything takes a while to load after booting up, including my ROMs, music, and pictures on the TF card. Even my wallpaper doesn’t show up until about 20 seconds later. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi all. I've flashed GammaOS v1.4.1 onto two RGDS consoles and the WiFi doesn't work on either. On one of them I've flashed the OS 3 times but to no avail. Is this a known issue?

Made the microphone sorta work on Drastic in rocknix (scripts inside)
Started to tinker with Codex to make the microphone on rgds work on Drastic, I tried melonDS at first since mic is supported built in but performance-wise it was choppy (no complaints there).
Consider this project as WIP, you're more than welcome to pick off where I left off making this thing more accurate, all you need is to install Portmaster, put the files in ports and run the script to install it.
