I’ve always dreamed of visiting a Rolife store and bringing home with me a piece of memory to cherish. But I got impatient waiting for that day to come, so I decided to create my own little Rolife store instead. So would you like to come on a little tour with me? 😊
Now for a fun question: How many different Robotime kits did you spot?
I think I’ve lost count of how many hours I’ve poured into this project. I spent a lot of time editing my printouts and sketching out rough designs. It was pretty tedious having to use old-school methods but it was a challenge I gave myself. 🩷
Every corner of this Rolife store was meticulously planned and I added so many little details everywhere, down to all four sides of the packaging for each kit. Even if they would never be seen once assembled, I knew they were there.
I would like to wish Rolife a very happy 9th anniversary! Thank you for bringing me so many therapeutic moments and wonderful memories over the last 7-8 years.
Robotime can you guys please turn this into an actual kit and send it to me? 😆 And can I shamelessly request a VIP fan pass as well? ❤️
Rolife just opened a new little café, bringing together the charm of cafés and the simple joy of a coffee break.
Inside, you’ll find an espresso machine, coffee grinder, shelves of coffee beans, a handwritten menu board, and a vintage fireplace that adds a cozy touch.
Outside, vines climb across the roof, flowers surround the patio, and string lights create a relaxing corner to enjoy a quiet afternoon.
From the coffee bar to the garden seating, every detail makes Leafree Café feel like a tiny place you’d want to stop by. ✨
What would you order here? ☕
Leafree Cafe Was My First Miniature Build ☕🌿
The moment I saw Leafree Cafe, I knew it was totally my style.
It took me a whole week to finish, and honestly, I had absolutely zero building experience before this.
I thought I just needed to glue all the pieces together. Turns out… I was very wrong. 😂 I didn’t prepare any tools at all, and having the right tools definitely makes some parts much easier.
For example, I couldn’t really bend the wires into the exact shapes with just my hands, so I had to give up on a few of the tiny details. And then there were the flowers… I simply didn’t have the patience to glue all those tiny flowers one by one, so I used some dried flowers instead. Surprisingly, I really like how they turned out!
I guess I’ve learned that making the tiny details takes A LOT more patience than I expected. Personally, I enjoyed the process of putting everything together much more than working on the super tiny details.
Anyway, this is the final result!
I’m really happy with how it turned out, especially for my first build.
So I recently bought one of these because I was interested, but had never tried before. This was pretty difficult as a first timer, but I feel pretty accomplished.
It’s always fun to see how people’s creativity changes over time.
Some of us started with one small kit… and somehow ended up with a whole collection 😂

What changed along the way?
Did you become more patient, more creative, or just more obsessed with tiny details? 👀
hi, i was trying to make my first set of rolife but i lost the page with the symbol's guide and I dont want to missinterpret anything so plss if someone has a pdf or photos of it 😭
Had this one a while but life things have prevented me from doing it. But managed it yesterday. As always, it’s absolutely delightful, and only took a few hours (with assistance!)
Forgot this kit’s name
But it is a magical tiny world!
A finished project doesn’t just end on the workbench.
Some become part of your bookshelf, some decorate your desk, and some turn into a whole miniature collection.

I just started this hobby and fell in love with it! This is my first build, the Garden House Book Nook.
What are your first builds? Would love to see them and maybe I could try them too!
Haha 🤣 🤣 🤣 It’s Rolife oxygen oasis, I just finished the door…too many pieces ,I think I may spend whole August on this
Can you share your progress and let me know I am not alone?🥺🥺🥺
i have another kit on the way as well, i'll share once it's finished!
Do you prefer kits that need glue, or ones that snap together without glue?
Personally, I feel like they’re two completely different building experiences.
With glue, I need a bit more patience since I have to wait for each piece to dry and set properly.
With snap-fit pieces, there’s no waiting, but sometimes I need a little more force to get everything tightly fitted together.
So I’m curious, which do you prefer?
My daughter is traveling in Singapore and sent me this photo of two miniatures decorating a shop window, at least one of which is a great mod of Emily’s Flower Shop!
This is Rolife's Fairytale Amusement Park, reimagined as the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is a special place for my family - I grew up going there, and now my kids love going there, so when I saw this kit, I immediately wanted to turn it into OUR favorite amusement park.
This was so much fun, and so much work! I wanted to include as many winky nods to the Boardwalk as I could, from all of the signage, the beach balls and surfboards, the gargoyles, and even the caveman riding the sky glider up top.
Since most probably aren't familiar with this place, I've included a lot of comparison shots between the real boardwalk elements and what's in the book nook.
The thing that took the longest was actually all the graphic design - recreating all of the signs, getting them to the right size, figuring out the sky glider banners up top...it took a ton of time and I was a bit over it by the end! But honestly I love how it turned out, and it has pride of place on my bookshelf now.
I'll include a few videos in the comments below so you can see the sides, and how I transformed the teddy bear light fixture up top to a yellow sun. 😄
Partial list of customizations:
A tiny toy shop filled with nostalgic details and childhood memories.
From the vintage tin robot and Ferris wheel to the teddy bears, capsule toy machine, and shelves of classic pull-along toys, every little corner brings back the joy of discovering a favorite toy store.
Look closer and you’ll find more surprises above: a flying dragon, retro airplane, hot air balloon, and puppet decorations, adding a touch of fantasy, adventure, and vintage charm.
A little shop filled with toys, stories, and imagination. ✨
Which detail catches your eye first? 👀
