Which rosary construction do you prefer: chain-link, paracord, or beading wire?

I’m curious what kind of rosary construction people prefer for actual prayer use.

Do you prefer:

A: Chain-link / eye-pin linked
B: Paracord / knotted
C: Strung on beading wire

And why? Is it because of durability, flexibility, weight, spacing, or the way it feels in your hands?

Do any of you guys know where I can find a rosary with beads like this? I’ve had such a hard time finding one that matches, I’m hoping one of you has seen it somewhere.

Where can I find this scapular ?

It might be possible that they have stopped making this . But I want this exact one . I searched all across the internet. Someone help me . I can only trace its origin back to an Oratory ( related to holy mary ) in Raheny, Dublin, Ireland. I emailed the church there asking for help but they didn't reply . Since I'm from Kerala , I can't go there and ask about it in person.

Free Rosary

I’m Protestant currently and I’m not really in the position to make that change to Catholicism. So I was wondering if there was a way for me to get a free rosary. As I’ve been praying the rosary on my phone and I would like a physical one and I’m not in the position to buy one or receive one in person any advice would help

Edit: thanks for all the help guys but I really can’t go to a church in person as I can’t drive as I’m not of age but any advice still helps thanks a lot

Is $60–70 fair for this handmade rosary?

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for some pricing advice.

This is a handmade traditional 5-decade rosary. The beads are natural clear quartz with lapis lazuli accent beads. All the metal parts are stainless steel, including the eye pins, chain, jump rings, centerpiece, and crucifix.

Each bead is individually linked with stainless steel eye pins. It is not made with elastic cord or a single hidden wire/string. I assemble and close each loop by hand.

I’m still trying to understand fair pricing for handmade rosaries, especially when using better materials and stainless steel components. What would you consider a fair price range for a rosary like this?

Would around $60–70 be reasonable, or would that feel too high for this type of piece?

Any feedback on the materials, structure, or presentation is also welcome. Thank you.

Made a rosary tonight to ask father to bless tomorrow after Mass.

Idk why but I made a rosary tonight after not going to Mass or praying for 2 weeks. Ive just laid in bed in pain and depressed. I know that’s not good and I’m trying. Please pray for me and my husband.

P.S. it’s my old high school colors

For some reason the colors are helping me mentally.

Good night everyone God bless

My biggest rose rosary I made

This rose rosary is a one of a kind
Each Hail Mary bead is carefully crafted from pink and white lampwork glass, hand-blown with delicate rose patterns and subtle gold glitter accents. The Pater beads are sculpted into vivid red roses
80$ for it if interested

Precious Blood Rosary ❤️‍🔥

I recently made this rosary for my son’s First Holy Communion using the crucifix and chalice centerpiece from my FHC rosary! Mine was falling apart so I repurposed the centerpiece and crucifix for this one! This has become one of his favorite and most used rosary!

Made my first rosary :D

I've tried making a rosary for the longest time and I've always been really clumsy with the knots, this one isn't perfect but I'm really happy with how it's turned out :)

I'll use it to pray before mass tomorrow and I'm planning to have my priest bless it!

God bless all :)

I need help deciding whether to remake my rosary using wire or cord.

Hi everyone!
I wanted to ask for your opinions on what would be the most durable option for my rosary. My current rosary is about 20 days old and is made with stretch cord. Recently, I read that stretch cord may not be very durable over the long term, and I’m worried about it eventually breaking.
Because of that, I’ve been considering asking the lovely person I purchased it from to remake it either with nylon cord or with 20-gauge stainless steel wire. (She’s agreed to remake it!) For those of you who have experienced with rosaries, which option do you think would last longer and hold up better over time? ( I sleep with it under my pillow too! )
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thank you!
