Last year I bought a beautiful rosary from Vatican Gift and it was to be blessed at General Audience by His Holiness. And so I set my watch's alarm and got up just before noon Vatican time. When the Pope offered the blessing, I captured the image, and here it is!
Since this picture was taken, I've added a vintage bronze St Michael medal. Rather too large to fit any of my rosary cases, so it sees use only at home 🙏
Handle is oak, shaft is ash, skull and braided collar are bronze. Double duty as walking stick and magickal staff.
If it's lucky to see a falling star, imagine what it's like to wear one! ⭐ This is a polished slice of pallasite shot through with crystals of olivine. It fell in eastern Russia in 1967.
I've worn this nearly forever and it's stood the test of time. Skulls are bovine bone.
Set in a silver dragon setting, this is a slice of pallasite, shot through with crystals of olivine.
Combination scapular rosaries are very popular in the Philippines. They are generally made in homes and sold in bulk to religious shops and vendors. Mine is 59 years old, a parting gift from my girlfriend just before we left to return for stateside. 🇵🇭❤️
