Legal move?

Is it legal to make a move like this for

example: 2,3,joker color not relevant

I place a 1 to validate the meld and then remove the joker to be used freely (not necessarily as a 4) elsewhere that same turn?

Thanks!

Feedback wanted: online 5-suited rummy game

Hi everyone,

I’m building a card game website called 5 Suits, and I’m looking for people to test it and give honest feedback.

5 Suits is an improved 5-suited rummy-style card game. The goal is to build Sets and Sequences, reduce the number of unmatched cards in your hand, and finish the game with the lowest score.

The game runs through multiple rounds. Each round increases the number of cards in your hand. You draw one card, discard one card, and try to make every card fit into a valid book or run. Books are cards of the same rank, and runs are consecutive cards in the same suit.

The game includes 5 suits, changing wildcards each round, freeze cards, computer opponents, public matchmaking, and private lobbies. The last three rounds use double points, so unmatched cards become much more dangerous near the end. It literally can be anyone's game the whole way through

You can try it here: https://www.5suits.online

If you test it, please let me know:

  1. What device you used
  2. What browser you used
  3. What worked well
  4. What was confusing or broken
  5. Any ideas that would make the game better

This feedback can be submitted either on the website or on this post. Please be as brutal as possible :) Thanks!

Which game mode do play in the Rumikub App? And do you think most opponents are bots?

I’m curious which mode of gameplay (tournament, practice, regular game) you guys are playing via the Rumikub phone app?

And do you think the opponents are real people or just bots? (Except for Practice Mode, they are obviously all bots).

I play the Rumikub app on iPhone everyday.
I usually play the tournaments because I feel they are a better use of my coins (less chances of winning coins, but I get to play at least 5 games for only 500 coins).

I also think most of the “opponents” are actually bots. I rarely think I’m playing against an actual person lol.

EDIT: thanks for all the responses! I hadn’t tried the “custom game” before, but I’m actually going to try it based on everyone’s responses

First time playing

Am I doing it right?

Seriously first time playing, watched my in laws play and joined in the last game in a 4 person match.

The game ended with one tile left that was a red 7.

It would have been enough to come out.

32 tiles …

I don’t know if I’ll ever play it again.

I designed a new strategic tile game with a 9x9 shared board and unique meld-building mechanics.

Hi everyone. Since this sub is for Rummikub and similar tile games, I wanted to share a look at 99 Rummy, a strategy project designed from the ground up.

The core gameplay brings a fresh twist to traditional tile games: all four players use a single, shared 9x9 board to build their melds. Every single placement dynamically changes the board and shifts the strategy for everyone else as you race to reach the 99-point target.

I wanted to create a completely focused and uninterrupted experience for tile game fans, so there are no mandatory ads. It is completely free to play.

Cups/trophy points

So, i play rummikub online. Im obsessed. But there is 1 thing i dont understand. At the top you have your score/what your aiming for, to the right your coins. But in the middle you have cups or trophy points. I have 1657. But what can I use them for?
