Is this worth milling or just give up on it?

I had this huge oak tree that died and is just going to waste here. It’s 3ft in diameter and the trunk is about 8 ft long till where it splits off. Is this something that would be worth milling or is this just a waste of time! Thanks for any advice.

Stump Query - I'm Digging One Out for Fun

Had to remove a large ash due to EAB and decided that I needed a task to keep sane so I've split all the wood and have been digging the stump out. I've been putting in a few hours here and there when time permits and have been wondering what the likelihood is that someone might be interested in the stump once it's removed.

I am not asking from a financial perspective, I don't expect anyone to pay for it. My question is more so whether or not there would be interest in something like this out there, as I imagine there aren't many people digging stumps out like this... And if so, where I could go about finding someone locally who might want it. I imagine it could be pressure washed and milled if someone had a mind to do so, the soil is all sandy and I've found fewer rocks than I have fingers on one hand during the entire dig.

If it's just junk and nobody in their right mind would have any interest in something like this, no biggy! Just figured I'd see what this community thought before I finished pulling it out and sent it off as waste.

Thanks for any insight or interest!

Best Metal Detector for saving bandsaw blades

I’m looking for advice on which hand held metal detector I should buy to find metal embedded in trees so I can avoid trashing bandsaw blades. I’m not sure if a wand type would work good enough or if one like the beach combers use would be better.

Do you log your own logs as well?...If so how do you do it on steep inclines?

We are trying to bring out over 30 red oak trees, they was up rooted during hurricane helene... all is over 70ft tail. Only trying to bring out 12ft at a time.

The all are on a steep incline that is unwalkable...our tractors automatically just lose traction and slide to the bottom...

Personally I am thinking we need something with a track..

What wood is this?

Was gifted to me for my birthday as a joke. Came from tree in gifters backyard (Netherlands).

Used it as milling practice.
May make a chopping board from it in the future?

Unfortunately my phone takes pictures aswell as any brick would do.

What wood is it?

Woodmizer Lt15 wide or norwood? Which and why? Are their better alternatives?

Im down to buying a woodmizer LT15 wide or its equivalent of a norwood. My price range is roughly $15,000. Which one and why.? Or do think i should consider another brand? So far it's woodmizer due to customer service. But before I pull the trigger I would love to hear yalls thoughts. Especially how great success you've had with other brands.
